Dashboarding HRs is griefing and should result in bans

Putting aside the fact that this topic shouldnt even matter because the stats should be counting anyway...

If I am batting Danny Jensen leadoff in BR he is there for one reason only: to get pxp for the program track.
If you are going to quit when you fall behind 2-1 in the top of ninth because you thought it was wise to put in a reliever with a 3 pitch repertoire of 4 seam, 2 seam, curveball thats fine but let the HR ball land.

This behavior is 100% griefing and should be bannable

I don't disagree with you and wish it was possible, but I just don't see how they could enforce it. Like how do you tell the difference between dashboarding and something innocent happening that shuts the game or the console down? Like the power going out, the console getting unplugged or turned off accidentally, etc. etc. I know those things are extremely rare, but inevitably it would end up with people getting banned that don't deserve it at some point.

That's why bans would need to be for second or third offense...I have a feeling that the people that dashboard quit against me generally aren't dquit virgins.

I also need to start taking note of who quits properly and offer them up a free fastball down the middle next time I see them.

Oh yeah, if they do it they are doing it frequently for sure. I kind of enjoy it at this point. Of course missing out on the stats sucks, but the satisfaction of knowing how mad they were that I smoked them makes it ok.

How would it be proven that the disconnect happened mid-HR, short of video evidence? Since the HR is apparently not counted until it lands and the person disconnects before that happens then how is SDS supposed to catch them?

Top of the 3rd, although I have gotten to the 7th in a BR game before

Also fair, SDS can see disconnect but for all they know its after the last play but before the pitch.
There would have to be a pattern

I also dont know what they could do to code it to allow the game to continue post disconnect, I have no idea how technically feasible that is
