Crazy how this can be “fixed” but every game is a random roll of dice to whether I’m going to be playing in a stadium with 12 brick walls between the pitchers mound and home plate…
About as bad of a look as it gets for SDS still not addressing that unplayable created stadium but comes out with this BR adjustment
Pretty unacceptable
Shows you what they’re prioritizing this year; micro-transactions over a quality game

@doobiebross66-72 Literal years lol I've been using BR spreadsheets and even event spreadsheets, since 18
It’s pathetic…it’s like they assume we can’t read between the lines and tell that adjusting BR like this is an attempt to decrease earning stubs in a more efficient fashion hoping that it increases their in-game transactions
Yet they haven’t adjusted gameplay at all and haven’t addressed the literal bugs and issues that have been posted numerous times on this forum and social media
Definition of tone-deaf and frustrating to say the least.
And you can't really blame SDS for adjusting this, so to speak, when it's the player base that figured out and reposted which cards, in which spot, produced the more expensive cards.
You, and others mentioned, that you would redraft if a more expensive card wasn't the 10/12 win reward. So there in fact was an exploit that people were abusing in order to 'steal' stubs.
I'm surprised it took this long for them to patch it.
You can easily blame SDS for adjusting something that is literally not an issue for their player base while they simultaneously ignore actual issues with this game
And as Canuckler pointed out, in no way can you consider redrafting “stealing” stubs lmao
So you're saying that redrafting, even though it cost 1500 stubs to do so, because you would rather get the route to a card that sells for 100K, compared to 5K, isn't stealing? That'sije saying all the resellers who would go into WM and search packs by feeling for the thicker ones, or weighing them, so they could buy the one thst has the chase card in it wasn't also stealing.
It was an exploit, that someone found out, and relayed it to others; so they could find the one pack, out of a box that has 30 packs, that had the best pack in it.
The card companies started adding spacers, to the reg packs, so all the packs felt/weighed the same.
SDS did the same thing, when changing the algorithm to be random, to give a level playing field.
I don’t agree with the analogy.
And how is it level the playing field? Have you even ever gone flawless or 10-1? If you haven’t, you honestly really don’t have a say in this awful adjustment
You’re on an island trying to defend this move by SDS
No, I haven't gone Flawless or 10-1. But thst doesn't mean I don't have a say in the matter. It was an exploit. An exploit that was well documented. I'm actually surprised it took them this long to patch it.
And it's not because they want you to buy stubs. It's because you were abusing the mechanics if the game in order to get a higher reward. Which, I'm pretty sure, is against their TOS.
You're all complaining about them implementing it all if a sudden, or in the middle of a run, which I've said is wrong.
But weren't you all the same ones praising them when they, in the middle of the year, all of a sudden made the Flawless and RS rewards non-sellable, for anyone thst unlocked them via the programs, last year?
All because you guys complained that you weren't making enough stubs selling the rewards.

0 chance that redrafting is against TOS
I also never gave praise about SDS making the RS and BR program pack rewards being non-sellable and I also never complained about not making enough stubs from selling a flawless player or World Series player
Adjusting BR in this manner is an L for those that can win 10 games in a run, plain and simple
The reason for randomizing the reward path is to mitigate a stub making method, also pretty clear to see if you have the skill to win 10 games in a run
SDS, whether it be influence from Sony/suits or not, is showing its hand this year as prioritizing their bottom line over a game that is friendly to no-money-spent players…or even focusing on actual bugs and issues that their game has
Being NMS friendly is what set DD apart from all other ultimate team modes. That’s a thing of the past this year and likely going forward

Its still NMS friendly for the vast majority of players, but it definitely feels significantly worse than last year with all the cut content and switch to packs.

True. Still some decent cards that are earned for free
Ultimately, my biggest complaint is that they go and “fix” being able to tell what players are in your BR path but they can’t even acknowledge the real issues and bugs this game has
That’s pathetic

I don't disagree. This didn't need a mid season adjustment if its nothing new

Been a thing since at least 2017 that they just now choose to address the same year that content heavily shifts to more packs in the store…coincidence? Nah

@TheCanuckler309
Just happened to me too. Grinded to 10-1 while it showed albies and trout. Win my 10th game, come back to the BR screen and I get J rod and Juan Soto. Absolute BS
-
@doobiebross66-72 and it is real on Twitter too. Not just the trolls. Content creators have been all over them, and they just shut down. Nothing, nadda.

@Victor_SDS_PSN @CBrev29 do better

@Doctor-Fauci910 I’m not a Great player but not bad and got to 10-1 and the game showed I was supposed to get ohtani for my 10 wins and I won and was excited just it to switch and give me a trea turner
-
@jtphelan same thing happened to me it showed me that I was gonna get ohtani and then it gave me trea turner instead
