All right, the XP “problem”

I’ve come around on it taking awhile to get to the bosses. My problem is that the reward path otherwise isn’t rewarding. Most of the other players are underwhelming by the time you get to them and the path is filled with trash icons and other useless things. If it takes days of grinding to get to the next reward, those rewards need to be rewarding. This game is stale already because progress is so slow.

It would be much less of an issue if the cards didn't expire. Going through a 3 month grind to get those cards and then you can't use them shortly after all that? I dunno, but that seems like a recipe for a whole lotta people to quit playing.

@Skarmaen You can though with the wild card spots. You might not be able to use all your 99’s, but there’s 4 wild card spots now.

Correction... There are 4 wild card spots that have to be earned through the XP path each season. So you will start with one and probably get an additional one every 200,000-300,000 XP earned. So by the end of season two, maybe you have a squad of 99's but probably not until near the middle/end of season three.

@GoozeFn There are 4 WCs eventually. You start with 1 and get the rest through grinding xp (I think).

Right, I never understood that answer. You'd think they wouldn't want someone like me online who is barely a 600 player, ends up picking up a cheap win on a bunch of poorly contacted balls because I had the RNG in my side that day.
I feel like I am happier without PS Plus and the online community ought to be happy I'm not online either.

I mean we know that we have to unlock them and there may be as few as only 1 or 2 in season 2.
"Every season after season 1 there will be wildcards and to make things better this year, we will have up to 4 wildcard slots in subsequent seasons after season 1. It is going to be amusing to watch the forums and social media crumble when everyone finds out that Season 2 only allows you to get 2 wildcard slots.
