It’s only the second season, what do you people expect?

They expect OP cards, despite everyone complaining last year OP cards came out too early. Whatever SDS does with cards, people want the opposite.

True. Britton will be OP enough anyway.

So last year the complaint was that there were too many 99 OVR cards early on and the complaint this year is that there's not enough. SDS can never win lol

I’ve never heard anyone complain about 99 cards being released early last year. In fact, it’s just the opposite. For me, I felt they waited too long.

As for Britton, a card we have all used and all seen for several years now, excites you guys? Not me. Outlier or not, the card does nothing for me. I agree with TheRealestJB—that’s a headliner card, not a WS reward.

And don’t get me started on Tino. That card is trash. Only hardcore Yankee fans are excited about that one.

Last year, the WS rewards progressed to be better and better. Which is why I wasn’t upset with the rewards for the first season. I happily chose Juan Pierre.

However, I’d argue that the rewards for this second season are worse than the first. They aren’t trending upward, they’re headed backward.

In fact, I’d argue this season’s WS rewards are the worst in DD history.

    Change my mind.

I'm not going to change your mind because if you have a problem with it, then don't play ranked seasons, but I bet you're still going to play anyways. If the card doesn't look enticing to you, then guess what, they're auctionable, and you'll make a nice hunk of change. Not sure how you don't like the Britton, that card looks extremely enticing, bullpen arms are always welcome, especially lefties. His stats are higher than last year, (pretty sure it was an 87 team affinity/epic whatever it was called), so the jump to 92 is pretty big, and the stats reflect that. I couldn't think of an exact world series award that definitely didn't excite me, but I know I've been disappointed, but not this time.

So you don't even remember the WS rewards from the first two seasons last year do you? First season: Mattingly, Bret Boone, and Christy Mathewson, the last of which got a SS card as a 200 star reward. The Second season? Alex Gordon and who? the other might be the most unmemorable WS reward ever. Just because Britton isn't new doesn't change the fact that he is better than all but 4 of the WS rewards last year(Babe, Chipper, Cobb, and Carew)

Man, y’all are crazy. They throw the same old card out there and inexplicably beef up the attributes and you love it. A card that used to be earned by collecting a team with no diamonds. Lol.

It was a lazy, unimaginative move on their part. In fact, it’s insulting to make this a WS reward. Y’all go ahead and wag your tail at every little thing that comes your way. I’m going to call out a weak move when I see one.
