Look at the players announced and tell me which of the other cards represents a current Live Series diamond, much less an upper echelon one such as Harper.
Neither the Nats (Raines, Strasburg) or Phils (Schmidt, Nola) will be getting a Harper card in this drop.

Yep. As I said before, SDS know how to be scummy, yet they still have no idea what they're doing.

TA is my least favorite thing. I like using my Chicago Cubs theme team so grinding for these cards is like slamming my head into a wall. Eric Busch card will be nice, especially after the boosts, but after that i can really not care at all for TA. It just feels like here we go again...
This is exactly why i quit the game early last year. TA and Sets/expiring cards.
I never really finish them. My goal is always just to get the Cardinals card. Anything beyond that is a bonus. I did finish the NL Central Chapter 1 because I was using one or more Cardinal cards for pretty much everything I did in game.

really?! I feel like I just do the moments and conquests and then have half of it done.. and then I just use my new squad while playing online and get the other half done, for the most part it just completes itself, in my case.

It's fine. Nothing otherworldly. Acuna is a cheeky selection.
The thing to see is how they manipulate vision to nerf everybody's Buxton Boost.

I will say, at the risk of sounding ungrateful that Joe Torre is one of my least favorite Cardinal legends in the game. I will use him if he is a C but I'm not super excited for it.
I have a feeling I am really going to be missing Pujols, Wainwright, and Molina this year. Those three accounted for a good chunk of the Cardinals good flashback cards each year.
SDS can we please get Ted Simmons in the game? He is in the Hall Of Fame and, in a pinch, can be added to 3 teams (STL, MIL and ATL)

Agreed on Torre. Especially since we have Arenado, Glaus, Gorman, Carp etc that we can put at 3rd. Was hoping for a Topps Now Ivan Herrera to play with once I P5 Contreras but in due time. Eventually Torre will not have a place in the lineup.
I feel you on Ted Simmons but to me, the ultimate a legend wish is:
51 - Willie McGee. An MVP 85 card would be so cool. He’s a coach so maybe they could get rights, he’d be a fun card.

I would not dislike that but we have a fair number of OF (Edmonds, Brock and even Musial) and a few relievers (Lee Smith, Bruce Sutter).
On the catcher front all we have ever had is Torre and Molina flashbacks.
On the starting pitcher side I can't remember any legend other than Gibson so a Chris Carpenter would be nice.Or, just go out and get Pujols, Molina and Wainwright signed up again.

Man, an outfield of Lankford, McGee, Coleman would be a nice change of pace from the same old same old. But, I’m a product of my generation.
