Dual Entitlement question

does anyone know if my son can play on PS4 at the same time I play on my PS5, with my account/game? or would I need to buy a new game for that? he has his own ps + service.

Is your account the primary account on his PS4?

Your account can only be logged in in one console at a time.
Make sure that the PS4 is setup with your profile as the primary.your sons profile will be able to access every game on your profile, this isn't a cheat or glitch or anything,Sony allows for game sharing.
not with this game but me and my brother do this all the time( we both have ps5s.) -

Watch out if you're trying to at against each other in DD. That could be considered boosting and could get both of you banned.
Not saying that's where this is headed. Just a warning.

Have your son make his own account to play on. You don't need a copy per account or even a copy per console. If your account is the main one, the game will be available on his account on the same console. So, in your case - install the game on both the PS4 and PS5 from your account. Then, when your son goes into his account to play, the game will be available to him. You do not want two people playing the game from the same account at the same time.
