I genuinely want to be in the room with the SDS creative team and just hear the conversations that go on. How can a group of people with such a loyal fan base find ways to ruin the experience of playing a baseball video game.
Whose grand idea was it to separate drops 1 & 2 into different programs, and what was the selling point? Are yall that desperate for cash?

It's a simple reason and one that I like. Lets say we are up to drop 4 and there is a card you really want, but for whatever reason you skipped Drops 1-3.
With this new system you can go straight to the Drop 4 program and not be required to complete every single previous drop just earn that one drop 4 card.
Like I said, I appreciate the change. Now, I am not a fan of the packs and I refuse to buy one but luckily the one player I wanted was really cheap.

@T00MuchHam It is all about the cash now, yes. Also, they simply don't care how brazen they are about it. A day after the second major snafu in a week they release more pack driven 'stuff'. I won't call it content because it isn't that.

The program is a thinly veiled cash-grab. Topps Now into Monthly Awards was a great FREE program the past few years. Now, the best players in the program are found in packs -- PACS THAT CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED.
Shout out, SDS, for crapping all over your loyal customer base: charging early access for a broken game, the Nintendo situation, server issues, the Thanos situation, and still no apology or respectful communication.
This company SUCKS.

Only thing separate is progression, same players you used to get pxp for drop 1 earn for drop 2, and for those who haven't gotten to it yet earn for both at the same time.thats really good.
the worthwhile players only in packs, yeah that's bad.
