What are we even supposed to grind offline now?

It really feels like the offline players are getting screwed this year in this game. We could complete collections and programs just by getting the cards you got playing offline. This year feels like they are trying to force everyone into online play modes as well as spending money to get packs or stubs. Just feels like the amount of free cards from completing programs, conquests, and mini seasons is nothing compared to years past. Add that to having most extra xp available only in multiplayer modes, a lower xp cap, lower xp rewards, and you get a game that went from being by far the best ultimate team mode for offline players to just another fully focused on taking your money and forcing you into online.
Also, I'm with other offline people. Why can't we get repeatable xp for completing mini seasons? SDS playing the xp police with people is such an odd choice. Why take away reasons for people to play the game? Feels like there would be more engagement overall if xp was more evenly balanced between offline and online. Plus all the cards in this season 1 program will be unusable once season 2 starts except for wild cards. Why is it terrible for us to get the cards a little sooner and actually have some time using them?
Then today's release of the awards and topps now stuff is super disappointing. All the best cards only available in packs. Why are there none of those packs at the end of the program to earn?

I actually play vs CPU over and over again, it’s what I enjoy, but I also don’t complain about not being able to get items that are online only

Me either. It never gets old to me.
On Triple Play '98, I had 2 162 game seasons going at the same time once, Mets & Indians. It's still baseball and a baseball fix. -
@samguenther1987 me too they should add more options or modes too play 9 inning games

I still have four more divisions in TA, the Egg Hunt, the TN, and MTO (lots of MTO for the TA’s) to play.
I don’t seem to have enough time to get through all the stuff, which is weird for an old grumpy retired guy.

So I've found the only worthwhile thing to grind is the TA Mini Season 40 hits for 10 packs on rookie. Can do that in 45 mins or so and then just restart the season. Sadly, it's completely mindnumbingly boring and makes you question why you're even playing the game lol. And when you get the packs most the time they're worth nothing anyways. Just sad how they've removed all ways to generate stubs in this game. It's the reason why the margins on the market are so small now, because everyone is doing it because there's no other ways in game to efficiently make stubs anymore

DD was literally birthed to show off your ultimate squads against others’. Its core is online play. Don’t try to change it because you yourself, don't want to play specific game modes, even though it could literally solve your problem…

Show off your ultimate squad online? You must be a unique kind of special. Sorry to break it to you but nobody is impressed by your GOD squad. If that gives you a purpose in life then more power to you. Truthfully, most DD players have normal lives and play to chill and relax not try hard and sweat to death trying to impress their virtual friends.

The xp bonus after each game is very little after each game played and challenge completed. Previous years games offered more xp earned, from the beginning of the release of that game.

On Rookie, if you win the world series, you could get around 40k.

The other day, delivery wasn’t available. That didn’t mean I couldn’t eat. I simply went out and picked the food up, even though I specifically looked up delivery to avoid going out.
