Season Awards Program
-
I just noticed there are no repeatable missions (or repeatable anything). This basically forces us to buy the Season Awards pack to complete the program.
-
Really? That can't be right.
-
No it doesn't. There are enough points to complete it without buying a pack or a card
- 12 points in Moments
- 26 points in Topps now missions (Actually 20 points as one mission requires a card you won't have yet unless you buy it)
- 20 points in General missions
52 total points earnable
-
Not true. I completed and locked no one. You do have to do everything though.
-
@Dolenz 20 points for TN in Season Awards, but that still does come out to 52. So, mathematically yes it can be done without buying a pack.
-
I said it in another topic -- the cards from packs act like time savers from other games.
SDS nice job and I know you have done this in the past but in the past we had the opportunity to EARN at least one of the packs w/o having to hit the shop. This is why players are so upset and why if you do not reverse course next time around players might just say heck with it and this game.

Ah, I see my mistake. The first mission is 250 XP with Season awards Series.
Problem is that you don't earn a Season Award Series card until you have already completed the program, unless you buy one of course.
That seems even more egregious.
-
@Dolenz Exactly, that is what I noticed when I first made the post, but as you pointed it out if we do go through all the TN stuff, we can still make the 50 stars without buying a pack. However, we have to play a lot since we have to earn more and more TN players throughout the program to help build the stats for the TN missions.

@Dolenz just wait for the 1st collection and it wants tou to have 80% of the season award cards.

I hope that does not happen. In the collection the wording says
Collect Season Awards program players each week to earn Lightning Season Awards players coming after Drop 4 and Drop 8.
Notice that it specifically says "program players". Plus, Garret Crochet is the only player showing available to collect. The ones from the pack are not listed.
-
@Dolenz 8 hope you're right my friend. This year just feels wrong to me in many ways.

Noticed that too. it also looks that, even though its not on the in game calendar, this is gonna be a weekly thing. Drop 8 will be the last week of season 1.
