It got funner once I started adding pieces. Ended up getting Alonso close to the break so that helped lol.

I won the World series with the padres in two sessions. Started it at 10pm last week - grinded til 1am. Then the next day got back on around 5:00pm after work and held the trophy up around 8:00pm. Very fun game mode! Good switch up because I ended around 650 stars so way too much time spent.

I stick to Veteran on these. Completed Atl and SD, almost 1/2 way through 'Stros and my son is doing Washington. I've gotten good trades too with SD and Atl. By adding a few of the players to my roster for the teams im using in conquest I've picked up the points for innings played so winning World Series gets me the 42 points or whatever which gets me to the FOTF. so much better than playing a full season! Big fan of this mode...Showdown...it can die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

I really hate the "MAKE HISTORY AND COMPLETE A NO HITTER", then I'm thrown into the 7th inning with a 68 overall pitcher at 120 pitches, and immediately give up 5 hits. I get 8 cold momentum and go on a losing streak every time

The issue with drafting, is you have no control. I can't take Jash, Cruz, or Garver if my gold round is 4 pitchers, and I can't take Trevor May or Tyler Duffey in a silver round if I get 4 starters. I can't take Eloy or Soler if my Choices are Naquin and Mercado, and I'll be damned if I get power out of 91 Ty Cobb or Nick Madrigal. Still, I at least get to the final boss, and if It's not Kopech I can grind out a win with a suboptimal team

Great for you. all of us are no where close to this good.
The AL Central is the easiest one because of the mini bosses. The first mini boss is beating you by 2 with 15 outs left and the second one is beating you by 4 with 20 outs left! Those are beginner level missions. And so because of that you can play all the way to the end every single time and usually by the end you have a squad of all golds and then a few dimaonds and maybe some elite silvers. With that squad and only losing about 15-8 (at the worst, you can get it to 15-11 without much trouble) you then have 20 outs to win it! The AL Central is easy!!

You need to take all hitters! And if you know who the final boss is or could be (most of the time right-handed) then you draft all hitters that hit that type of pitcher! And the best perks are contact boost while losing!

My skill level is not good enough for All Star to be easy. Do you get 28 points on all star just for doing season? And how much for veteran?
28 points just for the season on all star, i believe its 18-20 points on veteran for the season. Believe me its a grind at first but once you get past May it starts to sim a lot more, and the player lock games are a nice change of pace. If you are struggling with showdowns and want some of those FOTF cards this is the best way to do it, even if it feels like a grind its a lot easier than dumping 10k of stubs into showdown or trying to grind out innings. I typically put something on netflix or prime when I am grinding MTO, helps take the edge off the monotony.
veteran is 22 points for the season. DS is 5, CS is 10, WS is 15. So 52 points, enough to get the card with one run though the MTO.
It’s a grind but it’s worth it. Doing it right now for Anthony Rizzo FOTF but I can see myself doing it again for Gleyber Torres FOTF

Ok my bad not tryna do that! I am saying the AL Central is substantially easier than every other showdown in the game. You get 15 outs to score 3 runs, that is easy. You get 20 outs to score 5 runs on the second boss, which should be easy for most all. And if you beat those two then you play the last boss down by 5-10 runs with 20 outs which is very doable for players of all skill level. Am I wrong?

If you build up a good lead, the 2nd half of the season takes maybe a quarter of the time the first half of the season. I've done a few full season to get 22 points on Veteran and it always a long way to get to halfway, then it soars by quick and it's an easy 22 points. I stopped doing playoffs. Because they take as long as the season.
I cant grind them back to back though need a break in between.
It's a lot easier and less stressful than Showdown. And it is guaranteed 22 points, not get to the end screw up and get nothing.

Did the Yankees and Rays on rookie . It was easy enough. The padres on veteran blows. Tatis is the only one of these bums that can hit.

I can see myself doing March to Octobers often in order to get Tatis and others I want. Thanks for all the help
