Insight Appreciated

I've played The Show a lot for a number of years. I've never posted on here before, but I'm seeing a consistent trend and hoping to get some feedback that might help. I don't expect to win every game, but I can't figure out why this is happening or what to do differently.
Here's the scenario in my multiplayer games:
Minimum 6-8 times/game my batter gets out and swing feedback says good/good (timing/contact), with 100+ mph exit velo. Also, every game my opponent will have multiple hits/HRs, on swings with worse than good timing(granted, I don't see contact feedback). In almost every case, my batter's ratings and my pitcher's ratings are better than my opponent's pitchers and batters. I know that happens IRL and it's simply a part of baseball, but it is every single game, and I lose close games and I can't seem to figure out how to improve it. My players' ratings are better and I am making better contact than my opponent, so what can I do? Makes me think there is something I could/should change(setting, roster, etc.) or there is something I'm not aware of.
At least, I am hoping to get some insight that will help me, because I am kinda tired of losing games by 1-2 while having more H than my opponent and having even more AB that should've been more productive.
Appreciate the input anyone is willing to share. -

You may not have enough power in your lineup. Also, keep in mind that on All Star, games are more unpredictable. There is a potential for more "bad pci" home runs on that level. For example, with good timing, a hitter card like Joey Gallo will crush a pitch, even if your PCI was not accurate... especially on AS. Meanwhile, cards like Tony Gwynn, may hit several perfect-perfect line outs throughout the course of a game.
