Pinpoint input problems in the stretch
-
I get 100% input all the time … with no runners on. If I have runners on, the fastball reaches max. 80%, often worse …
Anyone else got this problems … In 23 I hit perfects with/withour runners on nearly all-the-time and the controller has not switches (I do not use the Xbox stock controller, but a Power-A) -
It's a problem for everyone. Some pitchers are worse than others. It's very frustrating.

It's incredibly annoying. I posted about this around a week ago. I am 100% in favor of randomly changing the timing for pinpoint so you can't just get into "auto mode" which I think might be one of the goals here. By all means, make it harder...and force me to concentrate. But...c'mon SDS what you SHOW me to draw before starting my input NEEDS to be what I'm supposed to input. I don't want to guess...and I don't have time to figure it out because relievers are generally brought in during high leverage situations. I have my suspicions this is a clever way to force more meatballs to opponents who will just be gifted ten additional swings an at bat anyways when they inevitably miss that aforementioned meatball. This isn't clever...and it isn't fun...and it needs to be addressed.

I do not think it is an attribute thing. I simply sometimes cannot get a fastball at 100% from the stretch and I do not know why. I realized, you sometimes have to go slower than shown … but that does not always help
-
Found another one: 91 Gagne. 95 control on fastball...good luck with it....just like Leclerc. Also no one mentions Satchel Paige either. His draw isn't glitched but his release point is...you have to release earlier than what it shows you (so I guess his draw is kind of glitched).

Pulse fixes all these issues
-
Metered pitching is way off this year also
-
It's because it's easy to adjust speed in a move that involves a quarter, half or full circle aroud. Trying to slow down an up and down move though... The only solution is using a slidestep, but then the control is flaky (as it should).

It's one of the many known glitches..."pinpoint stretch glitch"
-
Is pulse just not the way to go for playing online? Or is it not allowed to be used or something perhaps?
I always wondered if using the analog stick version of pitching was more accurate or something I guess it has to be otherwise why use it? I like pulse simply because it seemed pretty cut and dry how to operate for a player such as myself (what rank is below casual lol subcasual?) but have often wondered if I could tighten up my location with a more accurate interface

If it hasn't changed, the order of accuracy is : PPP>analog>meter>pulse>buttons.
Last year you could use pulse effectively online was 2019. 2020 was the first year of the random "floating to the middle of the zone" that made me switch from pulse to analog and eventually PPP.
Edit to add: I may have analog and meter in reverse order, but the rest I'm 100% confident.
