The broken CPU pitching is making me already bored of the game

Average MLB pitchers throw 62% strikes, and better pitchers throw strikes 65% of the time so looks like they put in in backwards by only doing 38% strikes on the game

It's broken. I just won a Conquest game, on AS, because of this.
Going into the bottom of the top of the 3rd inning down 4-2 against Milwaukee.
First pitch, from Devin Williams, hit my batter. Next four pitches were balls. Next batter was hit by a pitch. That loaded the bases.
My next batter was walked. No clue why, but the cpu left Williams in and he walked the batter.
So now it's 4-4, bases loaded with no outs, and I haven't even swung at a pitch.
Cpu still doesnt pull him a
and the very next pitch I crank a 4 run grand slam to go up 8-4.I just buoyed out with the next three batters and pitched a 1-2-3 inning to win the game.
Not complaining about a free win. Complaining that EVERY batter that was walked, or hit by a pitch, was a TA Boss and I was working on their mission requirements.

And when the cpu isn't throwing trash, they are painting edges and tunneling pitches regardless of ratings. Same can't be said of user pitchers. CPU hitting feels OP compared to USER hitters too. It's just not a fun or enjoyable experience and has me contemplating moving on from DD.

I’m routinely winning conquest games 7-0 or better on all-star.
Maybe the answer is… stop playing on rookie? Maybe it’s the older age and eyes, but I don’t understand how people can switch between rookie and online play. I feel like I need to keep the cpu on allstar or hof in order to not readjust

I played against Jacob Degrom and 11 walks in 2 innings and when looked at the analysis it was 38% strike rate on Veteran
I played against DeGrom yesterday and he threw 11 straight pitches that were balls. He has 87 control .....

I’m in the same boat. I stay on the same difficulty so I’m ready for online play. I think that most of the people playing on rookie and complain about the pitching, are offline only.

@ToddzillaX- Why anyone would grind DD against the computer when you already have access to every card available immediately upon release, and hundreds of others created over the years outside of DD we will never get access too, where you and aren’t forced to play conquest maps you need to simulate through and could actually play a full season with playoffs and a World Series. Along the way making trades and calling up rookies and progression them while retiring others who’ve earned career numbers and season rewards like MVPs and ROTYs is beyond me.
They already have you doing chores for cards you could literally access why wouldn’t they try to get you to buy packs for cards you could literally access?

I think its very realistic. is it the cpu's fault some players swing at everything and don't lay off balls?
It's realistic if you're the worst pitcher in little league...
You're missing the argument. We're merely pointing out the strike to ball ratio is 100% not working as intended.
I won 2 games in conquest by not swinging the bat once on rookie and veteran. This alone should make sds embarrassed enough to fix the issue. All they need to do is bump up the sliders on overall strike ratio.

I have a feeling that the CPU pitching issues are related to the experience cap. By slowing the game down, you encounter the experience cap much slower and have less people complaining about it. I can’t help but feel the pitching issues could be corrected fairly quickly yet they aren’t

You’re not wrong. I haven’t bought packs or stubs since I learned my lesson years ago! I used to love RTTS until they ruined it but still enjoy creating players and vegging out on franchise mode. I suspect I’ll be on there a lot this year!
