@SaberWolf269 the game also tracks strikes, right?

Why do you ppl play on rookie?
Yall are a broken record. You KNOW there is an issue but you keep playing on rookie.
I primarily play on AS and some HOF vs the cpu and pitching is perfectly fine there. Maybe try bumping the difficulty.
Why do you people care about people who play on rookie?
People should enjoy the game how they want to, and the game should work.
Some people might not have the time to "git gud" and just want to enjoy popping dingers. That's supposed to be an option in the game -- SDS, after all, is all about "play how you want to play."
THE GAME IS BROKEN. SDS NEEDS TO FIX IT. PERIOD.
-
@aaronjw76 I mean people can play on the difficulty they want. I started on rookie but after racking up 30 runs, went to veteren and currently still playing on vertern

It's the same issue on every difficulty
Look at the CPU pitch being very late in the bottom left corner
It's a bug
And I refuse to play above All Star
I am probably the loudest voice in the forums on this, and even I'll admit this isn't true. All Star is much better than Rookie. Rookie is nearly unplayable.
Don't confuse the "very late" feedback being there with where pitches actually wind up. I couldn't care less about what the feedback says for the CPU; I just want good pitches to hit on Rookie.

I've been playing some of the Umbrella map on All-star and while there's still instances of the terrible pitching...It's not even close to being as bad as Rookie and Veteran. I've been getting much better pitches...And the difficulty increase while noticeable, isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I'm still extremely late on a lot of fastballs...and they do seem to always get a 2 out rally in the last inning to tie the game, it's still better than waiting through 20 balls to make contact with a single strike thrown to only pop out to the warning track or perfect/perfect a line drive to the shortstop.

All of this is true. Last night I played a RS game and a BR game and will probably just do BR until this gets patched. At least when I get 20 consecutive balls thrown at me I know it's a human [censored] with me and not broken code.
-
I mean I played maybe 5 games on All Star but it's just a little too fast for me to hit the ball consistently
-
@aaronjw76 you shouldn't have to bump up the Difficulty to see more strikes, this narrative you're trying to push of people playing on Rookie is absolutely ridiculous, nobody is bragging about there record against the CPU on Rookie, that is what they're comfortable doing in the game, Higher difficulties should be more of an experience of what you should see in online modes.

To be fair playing on all star you don’t notice it because that’s what it’s like playing on all star be patient wait for that 1 pitch. From what I remember about rookie you get multiple cookies down the middle
-
I agree that this needs patched. But hopefully, if they patch it, it doesn't mess something else up.
-
Seems better to me playing on Veteran for sure......Moneyball baby!
-
Patch is needed because I really don't have time to work walks on rookie
-
@aaronjw76_PSN you're not bad at the game. If you were bad at the game, you'd struggle to succeed at low difficulties, but you are doing incredibly well at high difficulties. Due to this information, you are very good at the game.

I dont know why, it's not impossible. The only thing I don't like about playing above AS is that the AI gets away with more lousy contact.
But Vet/AS are probably the only difficulty that has pitch locations that actually challenge you. Because, I've found, there's no discernible pattern to actually pick up on and it forces you to actually keyhole a location and "wait for your pitch"
