More Co-Op Options

It's now 2024 and modern gamers are begging for 21st century multiplayer, especially in sports games. What advanced technology is preventing us from combining some of the current features of MLB The Show into the ultimate online mode? Surely some of the following features are possible additions in an upcoming iteration of the title:
- Co-Op Custom Leagues where friends can team up against other friends, or join an online league
- Co-Op or SP Diamond Dynasty Leagues with a regular season and playoffs (i.e. DD rosters and uniforms)
- An option to fantasy draft at start of any SP or Co-Op Custom League
- Co-Op Exhibition option to select specific opponents instead of gaming the matchmaking system (3, 2, 1, PRESS)
- Finally the much requested, much desired ability to run a Co-Op franchise with friends
Games are more fun with friends, and unfortunately the days of LAN parties are over. Co-Op and Custom Leagues are my favorite legacy modes in MLB the Show, but they ultimately tease a bigger potential. Let us play together. Let us compete together. Let us draft players together. Let us win championships together!

- Ability to rejoin/resume a game after someone disconnects

Just made a post about a wish list as well. I guess SDS gets the benefit of the doubt since this mode is only 3 years in but right now it is such a joke. Why does the one game mode that you can play with friends get zero love. They should know that an online mode can grow the game if it is good. Mode has so much potential but they clearly don't care about co op as long as they make money. Wish they would at least address it

They think no one plays it so they don’t need to fix it. The sad thing is, no one plays it because it’s broken!!!! “If you build it they will come” SDS, please build a better coop that counts stats and works! If you do, I promise you it will be one of the most popular modes!

@MeekFireClub exactly. Like I said in my initial post, it has the potential to be like nhl clubs or nba pro am if they built it like that. It would be one of the most popular modes in the game. Wish they would!

I 2nd, 3rd and 4th this. Random online 2v2 or 3v3 is garbage. There's too many impatient, cheesers out there in the gaming world who will always look to cheat the game in order to win vs. get the experience of why the game was developed to begin with. They take something potentially authentic and make it a kiddie, arcade experience. Lots of us are looking for more authentic online experiences and co-op with a friend only can provide that.
