Just a post to talk about Online Rated:
The Bad: I see we still can’t pick our own uniforms (lame), the rating/ranking system has been updated it seems to match players better but yet there’s still no universal level setting like Madden has. People can still choose to play on rookie while others play on HOF yet everyone is grouped into the same leaderboard. Just doesn’t make sense to me…
The Good: I’m glad they implemented the throw over rule, no more 10+ throw overs per AB just because your guy on base has above 70 speed. The game feels pretty smooth so far but looks pretty similar to 2023 graphic wise.

My big issue is the update to the Showtime Throwing mechanics for throwing to a base from outfield. Didn't need to change that.

Got different team uniforms in DD but somehow can't get them in online rated smdh. SDS is lazy and no good.

@John3221 the funny part is is that they are already in the game lol there’s every jersey imaginable including minors yet they just don’t allow you to choose in Online rated. Just the same home and away combo every time. Lazy coding.

Same cheaters atop the leaderboards with helldivers 2 being really good and NCAA football this summer no way am I playing over 500 games this year

@originalPGOODY what’s up man! I play with the Phillies but it’s not the dodgers you’ll be facing lol it’s the Braves. I’ve faced Spencer strider like 10 times already and I’ve played 24 online rated games lol

@HustlinOwl how are the tournaments besides it not working? I just had my second son a few weeks ago so I haven’t had time to jump in a tourney yet but I start parental leave in June so I’ll probably join them then. Is it worth it?

@The_Phanatic_ well today’s patch was suppose to fix the waiting for opponent glitch but hoping they addressed people selecting the all-star teams and that being removed

Known cheater CG____27 back at it again on here I see… thought I blocked him on PSN but I guess not.
I was whooping him 8-0 (15-3 in hits) in the 5th and he paused the game for about 2 straight minutes, comes back and all of a sudden goes on a 7 run rally with nothing but line drives and perfect perfects then in the next inning another 4 runs before I could even get an out to go up 11-8…
Has cheater written all over it. Added to my block list with the rest of them.

I love online rated because I can just play and not really struggle against someone's DD God Squad. The competition is much less sweaty. As for cheaters I feel I've played plenty of the higher ranked guys. The Jimmy_Flourish guy has been there for years and beats me everytime I match against. Plays on legend, so he seems legit. The rest play on rookie and veteran which bores me to tears. They also bunt cheese and steal constantly, so I usually set to all star ir hall of fame difficulty to avoid the lame competition
The skill gap between DD players vs Online rated is severe. I can make world series, but it's super hard. I'm not even playing DD ranked until i get a solid squad. But I'm 20-1 I'm online rated and my only loss was due to awful lag for both of us. Love online rated for casual ranked play. DD is really what tests your skill though

@LoneBlackMan DD is silly to me, I’d much prefer to just play with regular rosters and real time stats for players not these super juiced cards and 99’s and guys who have been dead for 50+ years. I get the idea of it but I’ll stick with mashing with my favorite home town team.
