The Trophy List is Weird And WACK!

For those of us that like to get the Platinum, aka, all trophies in this game.
This list is a bit of a letdown.
I think '10 and '11 were the hardest.

For good players, none of them seem overly difficult. That said, I still won't finish them all.
My theory on trophies has always been that if I get trophies while playing the way I want then great. But, I don't want the trophies to dictate how I play a game.
That said this is a trophy list that I could see that happening with.

I used to be a big trophy hunter. I have over 130 Platinums. I used to be hardcore!
What 'cured' me was never being able to get all Gold "Super" Licenses in Gran Turismo 7.
That said, I still like going for The Show Platinums. -
@TheGoaler I used to be big into trophies too...particularly in 2018 when Sony was giving Sony rewards points for trophies. I got about $350 in free games that year just cashing in my points. Once they stopped doing that, i toned it down a bit. I'll go for platinums if its something thats fun for me or not stressful. I just wont do it if it feels like a chore.

Honest question because I never pay attention to trophies in any game. Is there a reward/benefit for getting them? Or just something fun to accomplish?

Just a personal achievement really. A few years ago, Sony gave points for Sony Rewards members but thats about it

The big prize is the Platinum, which is for all trophies in a game. It also means you're pretty good, because there are adventure games that have Permadeath trophies, which means 1 life! You die, thats it! Max Payne III had a doozy. It was NY Minute Hardcore or something like that. You had 1 life! You also had 'last man standing,' where you could be in a death animation, which was in slow-motion, but if you hit a button in time, you could survive. There are games that have ones for beating the game on the hardest difficulty, like the remastered Resident Evil games had. Japanese gamers are usually so good, that the makers made super difficult ones to challenge them.
I think Dark Souls was extremely hard as well.
They're not for everyone, and I've calmed down about them, but I'd say it's the accomplishment, and bragging rights to the community, which acknowledges that you're very good at a given game.
What made me look at them differently was not getting all Golds on the GT7 Super Licences. I couldn't Gold 4, 7, and 10. 10 was at Spa Francorchamps with puddles all over in a powerful car that would slide if you hit the water, costing you precious time. Then you watch in pain as 1 or more of your PS friends did beat them! -
seems very easy . you can get all of these by just playing.
I had 100 percent every year but except last year because I didnt finish all the Negro Leagues moments.
