TA Chapter 1 Reveals
-
@SakAttack87 ahhhh, the beautiful power creep (appears) to be back
-
Ready to hit bombs and strike out a ton with that Gary card!
-
The lower tier diamond Longoria always mashes for me.
-
Awesome start with all-89s … I love it already … And I love the choices, lots of players nobody used in 23
-
I would love to know if you have to get through chapter 1 to get the chapter 2 guys.
In other words if you're halfway done with chapter 1 when chapter 2 drops, can we earn progress towards "both", or do you have to slog through a grind for the chapter 1 guys you dont' want
-
@bjd10048 this will either be clarified during the DD stream, or, once we reach the point of TA season 2 dropping
-
@bjd10048 to try and answer your questions, I would bet that yes, you’ll be able to progress both season 1 and season 2 simultaneously in the event you haven’t finished TA season 1 once TA season 2 drops
-
@bjd10048 they said during one of the streams that they were doing something like 3 TA affinity per season so one would assume that the PXP requirements and missions to get through each chapter would be drastically less than they've been previously.

All of his do except that Mini-Seasons reward from a couple of games ago!
-
@TheGoaler I can never hit with his high diamonds....no idea why. Give me his 89 and its bomb after bomb
-
My first pick is easy, give me that Longo card all day. I crush with it in 22
-
Dang it all I’ve not even finished TA1 in this years game yet
-
@bjd10048 To me that is pretty clear. Each season has 12 weeks and 3 chapters. So each chapter has 4 weeks. After that the next unlocks and you can earn progress for both (like TA was in 23, but there may be some things that does only things to one TA-chapter)
-
Anyone worried that the Reward Path Bosses being 91 probably will be obsolete by the time season 1 ends?

No cause the issue with TA back to 21 was that TA cards were some of the best cards in the game and devalued other awards that took longer to obtain. So in 22 TA was removed and what would have been TA became featured programs so they were the best cards at the time. TA in 23 went to the cards being 2nd teir cards and this will continue as TA should never be the best cards in the game that should be resevered for RS, BR and collections so this all seems in line based on their rating level

It is kind of funny that these guys cannot find a happy medium for these programs between giving away the best cards for relatively little work (2021) and grinding like it's a full-time job just for collection fodder.
I'd happily welcome 2021 type TA cards if it came with 50-75% more effort but not the 300% more effort (for less value) like was needed last year.
-
I'll take Shawn Green any day. Lovin' his Great Race card in '23.
-
This is easy. I'll take Shawn Green, he's always got a top 10 swing for me.

The issue will always be there as it's subjective on what the community sees as effort vs rewards and how SDS see it. Clearly they saw that 23 took to long and is adjusting and well see where that balance or imbalance lands in 24

It's also kinda funny that people complain about the rating on a digital card.
A good player can win with any card. And a bad player with lose with all 99s.
