Set4/5 captains with signficant boosts

Did you see the tweet from last night?
Set4+5 team captains have gotten signficant boost upgrades. Some of them give +20 boost on vision/clutch/contacts/power … that way, theme teams online make lots of fun.
I tried out a few of them already

I play ranked very regularly … nobody I faced uses the boost from those captains. 2/3 do not need any captains while the others have Cal as their captain. What most have in common: Trout, Acuna, Elly, Mickey … Do you have any explanation for this?
Sure, some of the teams are still not that great (e.g. Royals) … but the Orioles, Yankees, Rangers, DBacks, Dodgers, Braves (except for 1 weakness at C) have awesome teams

The Captains are basically what's keeping me playing at the moment. My new favorite could be the Dbacks team build, they have a ton of power.
Still think my SS team is probably the best Chapin squad available, i have Rollins at p5 along w the best primary/secondary switch hitting Shortstops in the gm. -
Yes … It was actually a superb move for them to do this since it makes Theme teams more viable. I just built the Cardinals, Lou Brock give tons of speed, so Jim Edmons becomes a really good CF … Of course, the Yankees are pretty awesome too :). I just had Braves pitching, with maxed out Maddux … I had a blast doing it
