Pandemic caused MLB the show 21 to release in late April and ever since they’ve been trying to catch up to their normal release dates. Pre-pandemic it was mid to late March. Early 2010s and before it was early March and early February.

This should be the normal release date in the future unless for specific reasons like new console, lockout, or other different situations
