I'm using the PowerA. Anyone try anything else?
-
I have a wired PowerA and I like it better than the PS5 controller because it fits in my hand better and the sticks are stiffer. Given that, I think I wore it out this year and will be looking to replace it.
I’m interested to see what controllers are posted here.

Any more thoughts on the PS5 vs XBX debate from a performance and responsiveness perspective?

I have found them pretty even in performance. Given that, I hadn't been on my PS5 in a couple of weeks, and when I got on it the other day, the picture seemed clearer and sharper. I think, though, the contrast and brightness were just higher on the PS5. The gameplay wasn't any different.
There is no doubt that streaming on the PS5 is better. The way Sony handles the video is much better. The camera isn't any better than the one I use when streaming on the XBX (which is a 4K camera, but the picture sucks on the XBX - but not when I stream from my PC).
Hitting and pitching are easier for me on the XBX, but that is because of the controller, not the console. If someone came out with a Sony controller with stiffer sticks, there would be no difference (but the PowerA controller feels better in my hand, and I have no reason why).
I like that I don't have to pay for the game on the Xbox (well, I do in a way, but there are hundreds of games for me to play with that cost). I will do the same thing this year that I did last year. Preorder the deluxe edition on PS5, play the game on XBX from Gamepass, and buy the game on Switch - keeping my PS5 account as my primary in the linkage. When 23 drops to $10, I will buy the physical copy for my library.

@raesONE- I think @Blind_Bleeder really hit a lot of good points, as usual.
For me, I'd really like to say that one system has a definitive edge. After bouncing back and forth for the last few months, I just can't say that. It probably has to do with my old eyes. I'm playing primarily on the Xbox, mainly because my son is an Xbox user and I can have fun goofing around with him.
The only thing I can back up with data is this... I started a new RTTS player, on HOF difficulty, one on each system. After one season on each, I did hit better on the Xbox. Take that as you will

This may not may not belong here but I’ve never let that stop me before so why start now lol. I’d just like to put it out there that playing this game with a consistent controller has given me consistent performance. I noticed one day that I seemed to hit much worse when I switched controllers and not different brands or types of controllers just a different one that I played with most of the time.
Surely everyone else out there has a favorite they like to use first until the battery dies. I’ve found that if I keep to just one controller that I play much better. Just throwing this out there. Even though they look the same there are little nuances that are different and in a game where PCI placement is critical combined with analog stick sensitivity that it’s a good idea to try and use a particular controller every time you play and stick to it.Hope this made sense lol

@arvcpa Just to throw my 2 cents in as someone who has owned every gaming system created since Atari. I never get non brand controllers unless I have no choice. I’ll use the one that comes with it when I get my XBox.

@fubar2k7 that's normally me. I used the standard PS5 controller. However, for the Xbox, the wireless one that came with the system was unusable for me. At least the PowerA is about half the price of the PS controller.

Money isn’t an issue for me when it comes to these things to be honest. It wasn’t before and it definitely isn’t now. I would never use anything that doesn’t do everything the DualSense controller does.

The controller I am using currently is the Gamesir G7. I like the feel and be able to throw kontrol freeks on it. I am going to invest in the G7 SE which the mechanical features with the sticks have me intrigued.
