I never have that problem with simulating the fans game, I do agree that they did make the opposing teams pitcher harder to hit and I ALWAYS play on rookie if I can, but as for those 2 players that you mentioned maybe you just aren't good with those players like I absolutely can't get a hit with the captain David Justice

I still love Conquest, but there definitely is a nerfing going on with Sliders in place. I don't mean White Castle Sliders either.
Wind is almost always blowing in as well.
SDS think they slick, but i have Lt. Columbo qualities

I think it happens in vs CPU games too. Getting that last number you need seems the most difficult - unless it's just me being antsy. Maybe that's what I get for keeping track of every number...

Haha it's not just you. I had Mike Cameron and Sandberg stuck on 8 TB out of 10, no hits in 3 full games against the cpu and then in game 4 they both hit 3 home runs, like where was that in the 3 previous games lol

Conquests are weird at times. I remember the Mexico one well because it was all against San Diego or San Francisco. I ignored it until the night before an update and cruised through half the conquest utterly destroying both teams. The next day after the update same teams and pitchers. I could barely win and was going 5 or 6 innings per game.

O same, deffinetly. Give me all the missions over the tedious moments. If theres one thing i love more then anything it's having to do a moment where you get one at bat and the pitcher keeps walking you, i just love that..... thats sarcasm.

SDS certainly caters to the stream crowd, and that should never happen.
Conquest has at times been unplayable, pushing me further and further towards not buying any SDS game again… -

What difficulty? My last 7 games have been shutouts (mostly on veteran but a couple on rookie and one on All Star).
The cpu has scored in only 3 games in like the last 20 conquest games that I have played. Of the 17 other games 9 of them were no hitters.
My offense can fluctuate quite a bit but I chalk that up to me being impatient and never doing well against guys with a lot of offspeed and breaking pitches.
I don't sweat the occasional bad simulation result. I Just reinforce and try again.

The only thing I will complain about against CPU is how bad MLB stadiums play in this game. If they played better people wouldn’t be using minor league stadiums almost every game (or terrible created stadiums.) getting perfect perfect less than 100 mph with 125 power should almost never happen. Happens way more against the cpu than humans. Or I got today an 88 mph perfect routine fly ball. It’s so frustrating.

I don’t think stadiums are why a perfect perfect results in a hit being under 100 MPH.
Stadiums playing weird is likely the result of them having zero weather. No wind in the windy city and Wrigley Field won’t be the same stadium. Dodger Stadium without weather effects is like playing baseball during the early 1900s.

I got it now. The garbage stadiums at max elevation I keep reading about in the forum. My point is that real stadiums don’t play right due to weather. Maybe people would use real stadiums if they didn’t suck. Maybe I wasn’t clear either.

In the last team affinity 5 mini seasons I did I lost 8 games on rookie including 3 in the finals. Couldn't buy a hit, couldn't get anything but pitches on the black. It was awful. It's like they nerfed my entire team.

I just finished up the TA 5 mini season myself a few days ago on veteran. I think I lost 2 games. Went 6-0 in the postseason.
And I pretty much just leave the PCI centered and wait for mistake pitches.
Maybe it is because I only play offline and am accustomed to it.
