What in the world constitutes "exploitative behaviors"???

I do the exact same thing when I'm done playing every single time. I exit the mode, close the app, then turn off the console. Only once have I ever dashboarded to reset a moment and that didn't even count towards the "strikes". I really don't understand. I've lost XP rewards entirely on 2 different save files due to this now and I've received strike(s) on multiple other save files as well. I've put more hours into MTO than any other mode and it seems 100% random when these strikes occur. Someone needs to elaborate on EXACTLY what causes this because it's really getting on my nerves.

@BxnnyMxn_ when I load the save file, sometimes a warning message pops up saying that the system detected unusual activity and if it continues, you lose any xp rewards from the save file. After the 3rd time it detects "unusual activity", you can't earn xp. I have no idea what causes these messages to pop up. There seems to be no pattern.

Maybe your account has been hacked? Try resetting your password. Do you have your account on any other consoles? Even old ones? It may not be what you’re doing, but rather someone else using your account at the same time you are?
It’s just a guess, but it never hurts to reset your password when weird stuff happens.

That’s very interesting I certainly hope no one has hacked your account or anything. I’d try that password change too. Does anyone at home use your login or anything like that at all? I hope you figure it out buddy that sounds very aggravating and confusing. The least they could do is send you an email to explain what’s the provlem

@BxnnyMxn_ I'm the only one who uses my account at home. I'll reset my password, but I would assume if someone was using my account I'd be able to tell. I was certain someone else would have experienced this considering just how frequently it happens to me. Not sure what to make of it now. Thanks for your concern, though.

I’m truly never much help around here as I’ve not been around nearly as long as most I only started playing the show last year on Christmas when I saw it listed for ten bucks on the ps store and really ain’t that video game savvy in the first place haha but I do try and offer up my ear at the very least especially if I think the conversation might attract the attention of some of the wiser folk on this forum lol
I really don’t think that you’re alone on here with the issue but the lack of answers is probably due to the amount of other great games out there right now combined with the overall displeasure experienced by a large percentage of the veteran player base due to the direction the developers have taken the game this year but be patient and maybe someone who knows will pop into the forum and help you out.
I know there have been many on here that have spoken about getting banned from the game altogether and have mentioned receiving similar sounding messages. Now some of these people are totally clueless about what happened while others have mentioned the cause being the purchase of stubs from third party vendors and others have had it happen to them due to market transactions that have been deemed as suspect. I think one example of that would be quick selling a card worth a boatload of stubs for the minimum which to them appears to be suspicious although I myself did this last year with the Kluber card simply because it was my first day playing and thought ten thousand stubs was a fortune lol. I’ve had an order in to repurchase it for a million stubs for nearly five months now and still haven’t been able to get him back haha that’s what I get though.
Hey I hate to suggest this since the place is so dang toxic but have you tried searching Reddit? I bet you’ll find mention of it happening to others on there. Just a suggestion. I really hope you get it figured out and please keep us informed will ya? Best of luck to you -
Not sure why but mine does it all the time. Not sure if it's a bug or what but I've gave up caring. Honestly wish they would remove the strike system (against earning XP / rewards) in general from MTO. It's not that serious.

This bug was present at launch last year too, which I think was related to the option to save and exit mid-game, which the game allows and does not give you an advantage really. In fact since you have no control over pitching changes in player lock moments and you are asked to throw 130+ pitches to preserve a pointless shutout sometimes it’s more of a necessity than superfluous.
Haven’t tried to do that yet this version, but you have so little control over things in mto that there’s not much exploitative actions you can do. I can’t even ensure that there’s going to be a lefty in my bullpen for the playoffs despite having 3 on the last day of my season, and got walked off 3 times in the ALDS without the ability to bring in someone to face a lineup made of lefty hitters. Not to mention that you’d be put into the game with a platoon disadvantage and stars on the bench in postseason games needing to make up multiple runs all the time. And you can’t even substitute until they throw you a pitch. Tired of Mickey Moniak having to hit lefty relievers in the postseason close and late with Mike Trout somehow on the bench.
