MLBTS on iPad…
-
I just played one inning of a CPU game on my iPad using Xbox Cloud Gaming. I also perused the menus to see how well it worked.
I had to connect my controller via Bluetooth.
The menu to choose how many cards to exchange wouldn’t come up with numbers, and I couldn’t figure out how to put a number in the box (maybe I should have used the iPad touchscreen like on a Switch?).
There was some lag, but I don’t think it would take much to adjust. The video quality was pretty good.
I suppose this would work on my laptop too, but I haven’t tried it (yet).

You can also download the free remote play app for Playstation and play on your iPad that way as well. The controller works on it the same way. Not sure if you noticed but once it’s synced up with iPad it will no longer function on the console until you resync with your PlayStation. I actually like that because otherwise it would turn on your ps every time you hit that middle button on the controller. I’ve got the very large iPad and it plays very well on there you just don’t wanna get too far away from the ol router

I think I’ll wait for my PS Portal on November 15th to play on the go but smart thinking.

@fubar2k7
Isn't the PS Portal only playable inside your own home network's Wifi, with your PS5 console on?
I do not think it is like the Switch (or Cloud Gaming) in which you can play anywhere? -

I do not think it is like the Switch (or Cloud Gaming) in which you can play anywhere?Yes but that’s what I want it for. I don’t use a monitor so when my girlfriend is home and watching something I don’t particularly wish to see I will have the ability use the PS Portal.
