REALLY!? Rodriguez for the Tigers? Dude costs us some capitol, was average after he came back and isn't coming back next year. Why not Torkelson, Skubal or Greene? Do these guys even watch real baseball? I'm guessing these guys that get feature cards again and again signed bigger contracts for likeness to be used and they have to keep putting them on cards.

That is not how it works.
All current players are under the same license agreement per MLBPA. Only Jazz Chisholm gets more (and definitely preferential treatment) for being the cover athlete.

Nolan Gorman - St. LouisI'll take a Gorman card but I am a little disturbed that the only Nolan Arenado card for the Cardinals that is eligible for season 5 will be his Live series card.
In defense of the choice though, Gorman led the team in HR and was 3rd in RBIs in spite of having 150 fewer at bats than Arenado and more then 180 fewer at bats than Goldschmidt.

Really happy about McClain getting the Reds finest. It was either him or Steer, and with Steer getting a 97 TN I was hoping McClain would get an upgrade!

I know it's not the same for everyone but I can't remember being less excited for Finest cards than I am this year. Having so many variations of cards/same player has caused most of these finest to feel "blah". Anyone else like this?

I want whoever decided to put in a Finest David Bednar card in over Bryan Reynolds fired and/or put in jail.

Or, maybe even more likely, a Set 5 collection reward.They know everyone wants him which is why they won't give him away for minimal effort.
