TA: Lack of planning kills the game

I thought the whole point of Team Affinity is to reward players for their fandom of specific teams. It's called "team affinity" after all. Captains for theme teams are a great addition this year, imo.
SO why oh why, SDS, is the Finest 99 Jhoan Duran our Twins reward, when our last Twins pitching captain is also Jhoan Duran?! What motivation is there for me to get this card if it will mean my theme team now goes without a pitching boost?
He's a great deserving player, but he already has an essential team card. And there were so many other deserving Twins players who don't have 99s. Beyond disappointing and the personal last straw for me; I'm speaking mainly about the lack of intentionality and forethought given by the creators, which really applies to the whole year. Not getting the game next year.

Don’t you want to see the entire TA before judging it? You haven’t seen the legend they selected yet.

I love the captains idea this year but the repeating of certain players over and over was disappointing and I am one of the few supporters of sets

If they didn’t repeat Bob Gibson he’d be done with after a month unless you used a Wild Card spot for him if not for having multiple cards for him.

@RevCuddyer it stinks and i get it, but they really need to let you use the captain boosts if a said card has a captain card in the game. See the same thing with Gary Carter and many more.
