Really? Your first born? I mean if it is a daughter I get it...
That's too funny! Me and Noah Syndergaard over here just giving away our kids for things LOL

Due to the fact that it's a digital baseball and a digital bat , there has to be some level of rng involved as no real physics are taking place . The rng is influenced by your timing , pci placement, pitchers attributes and hitters attributes. If there is anything else contributing to the rng like trying to make the losing player catch up by secretly boosting his rng , yeah I would be opposed to that . It never seems to work in my favor though . When I'm losing , I just loose , I don't get the secret boost.

- No top spin, you can hit a liner and watch it hang until an OF with below average speed tracks it down to the gap

This I agree with , they need to add top spin to liners , but that would cause some potential Homers to not be Homer's and some will complain about that.

Well I’d rather have that than the homer fest on bad swings with crappy timing outside of the zone that we have now. Maybe they could just make the game play right online instead of calling their crappy netcode All-Star+ to cover up the fact each game is different and the timing changes from inning to inning.

Just played an event game and gave up 5 hits in a row on very early and late swings on pitches outside of the zone. Wtf is SDS doing at this point this game has gone so far down hill. That literally proves very little about this game is working correctly at the current moment.
-
I believe the baseball game you are looking for exists.
In live roster and regular mode.
Your primary problem to me is unrealistic power at 125
The game plays tighter when the players are lower rated.
The ultimate team mode has the game maxrd out and in there lies your problem.
I hit a homer revently with LS ced mullins that was the longest i have hit this year on a perfect
The developers have only one game engine to work with and seems overwhelmed by the 125’s

Thought you were done with online as of yesterday?

Good comeback. But to stay on topic... You said you were done playing because it was a HR fest online. Yet you played an Event game where you gave up 5 hits. So were they homeruns?
And if you were done playing online, which you stated a day earlier, why did you play an Event game?

Lot of people asking for top spin like having top spin and backspin in the game didn’t make a bunch of guys unusable in 17 lol

I did not play in 2017. I can’t speak about the issues of back then, all I know is that they have to find a way to make liners over 100mph get down, those need to find grass before Juan Soto or Dr. Smooth get to them in the gap between LF and CF.

100%. Game has a much more realistic feel in RTTS too. Now that the trade deadline is passed, I might start a new one with the updated rosters. Especially since half of my DD team will be “expired” in a few weeks.

I fear the onliest way this is happening on this game would be if they didn’t mow for a month. Sort of like my yard now that I think of it.

Im guessing they can add spin to the ball without making it swing specific.

Dude there hasn’t been a single tweak to gameplay since release. SDS doesn’t care about how the game plays at all. Insane to me. I mean what game studio doesn’t constantly try to tweak/provide balance for their game?

They absolutely don’t care they haven’t fixed the online or gameplay not even a bit. The timing windows for hitting are so drastic from game to game it’s unplayable for a majority of people. This game is in the worst state it’s ever been and everybody knows it.

Just got done playing a game where in the first 5 innings my opponent had 3 weak ground balls for hits including a late swing weak grounder that hit second base and then led to 3 runs.
But when I have good swing timing and put the ball fully in the PCI, it's "okay" contact for a routine flyout (which, fwiw, I still CANNOT figure out why this happens and what to do different).

I understand it's frustrating, but irl it happens , the other day the angels vs Texas, in the first 4 innings I don't think the rangers hit the ball over 90mph. All excuse me hits , soft singles , they were up 5 -0 , matt thais hit a 103 mph liner for a dp out .
It happens.
I'm an Angels fan , I couldn't tell you how many 2 strike bloopers Angels pitching has given up this year . -
