Set Collection Q re: set 1…..can y’all please hep meh?

I’m at 137 cards collected here so three to go before I get this choice pack that contains Bambino, Chipper, and Pedro. I’ve heard just about zero on here regarding Ruth and Martinez, but certainly see Chipper’s name bandied about quite a bit. Is his card that much better or is this even the same Jones card that people are even referring to? I’d love to hear from as many people as would have an opinion on this as it’s taken me since sometime in May to get here (still need three cards!), with preference given to any and everyone who’s used all 3. I truly covet your answers and would appreciate anyone who takes the time here.
My big question is, “how’s the Pedro card?” I’ve heard a lot about Donaldson, shohei, Dustin May, degromm, and Roki but not too much about Pedro but it sure is a sweet looking card. Anyone?

I haven't used Pedro, but the others are good. Chipper being a switch hitter with good hitting attributes makes him better in my opinion, more lineup versatility. Babe is good, but you can find players that will do the same hitting, but you get more speed and defense.

I chose chipper first and then Pedro but never had enough cards to get Babe. Chipper helped me beat the teams on Legend in mini seasons and Pedro besides having outlier on his fastball has a filthy change up

Thank you partner. Hey what is the talk about outliers I’ve seen it used in a few ways and one minute I’ll think I have it figured out and then I’ll hear it used elseways but I’m assuming it means that the outlier for a pitch enables it to have more speed or more break respectively? How does one even tell one way or the other and how big of a difference does it make

Outlier on fastball allows them to hit 101-103mph breaking pitch outlier is new this year and as the pitcher tires he doesn’t lose as much break as he usually would by getting tired. You find those by looking at the attributes line. Go to the right and look up their quirks and you will see it they have outlier or not

Got it. I see what you mean. I wonder since I use pulse if I even can properly utilize this? I know you can throw your max velo on command using the meter pitch method but I’m just not sure with meter although I have seen pitches reach 103 on more than one occasion so I seem to be bringing it about somehow…maybe with perfect pulse timing? I hope not though
