Took eck first time and definitely regret not taking cargo because he had been a monster for me. But both are great

CarGo has been good for me and I'm not great at hitting online. I went with him because I always enjoy his cards. I read a lot of bad stuff about Ecks missions so I'm avoiding that one. I'd say go with your biggest need first.

That Eckersley card is so fun to use. He was my first and only Evo pick so far and I definitely don't regret it.
That said, I will be going for CarGo next. Honestly, if I were you I'd go Eckersley. He's the best right-handed reliever in the game right now, it's easy to fill your outfield.

Went with eck. I mean i need a CF but there are a lot of good CF that i figure in about a month cargo will be a bench player at best. Thanks fellas

I love CarGo IRL, but I never play well with players that have such a pronounced leg kick.
Eckersly's motion has been reworked this year and he is absolutely fantastic. There are more quality OF out there than quality RP. -

He’s prob my best fielder and hits surprisingly well against lefties. When he connects with one it’s the best feeling in the game

Matthews isn’t “terrible” fielder...average I would say...rated in 70’s across board if I remember correctly...and Cargo may be better fielding and faster...but also plays in the OF where there are a ton of better players...can’t say the same about 3rd base...

Just messing with ya brotha, set me up a little for that one couldn’t help myself. I went with Pudge then Eck. Hate Pudge’s swing but I need good D behind the plate so what can you do
Get Posey
This. I did the pudge. When I reached Silver 1 my choice was keep pudge and pick up Jackson or pick up Posey and buy an outfielder. I spent 50+k on Yelich and haven't regretted that decision at all. Posey has been very good.

Cargo is the truth. I’ve only used him in the event and he’s hitting around .400 with a .900 slug. He’s really making me consider moving Gallo to the bench when I hop back in ranked (since I can use Reggie in RS). I’ve also found eckersley to be very good at HOF difficulty because of his control and sinker/slider combo.
I’d take cargo though

Exactly! Haha! Don’t make me forget about where I’m going to put Sheffield either. I REALLY don’t want to think about taking out Moncada or Torres. Both of them are just so good.
