I dare say a lot of people would've stopped after Marte or Wagner. I know I would have.Nahh not worth the annoyance and aggravation. I'll just use the set 1 99 Griffey as a wild card

Adley fairly easy. Just Dashboard if you don't like the progress. Essentially you just need 7TB per game.

For conquest only the first four games must be played on hall of fame, after that it should be all star at worst.
Load up on your best pitchers and all speed players, bunt for base hits if you have to and steal as much as you can. I have Colorado and San Diego down

Nice! This is good to hear. I was wondering how that would work out in terms of the difficulty along the way. Only 4 games on HOF isn't too bad!

Cain was nerve wracking,but the Astros like to take the first strike and chase alot,so it wasn't too bad.
Wagner is super easy if you're used to pitching on HoF.
Griffey and Piazza look okay, Piazza you only get 2 ABs but it's CBP, not luck on either but both look doable.
Trying the comeback one now. -

For those who said that the extreme program was getting watered down for casuals I think this proves you were wrong.
You hated perfect 3 inning moments and now you have to pitch a perfect 9 inning game.Luckily for me they did not put any must have cards in it for me. Griffey would be nice but I don't covet him enough to attempt this at all. I feel like the rewards leading up to him are really not worth it either.
The downside is that if you are not into extreme then we have to wait almost 2 full weeks for any new meaningful content as they seem to mostly be blowing off next week except for a trade deadline roster update.
They made it a grind 99 program, which is not really extreme. People can play mini seasons on rookie and complete it over a long period of time. I do like some of the heart missions but it does go in keeping with their make everything available to everyone mentality.
Only thing good about Griffey is that he is Core. With that said its another 99 retread from Set 1. I think Sam hit the nail early that this year would be retreads every season or other season of previous released players.

Also don't be afraid to be patient, the cpu will throw a lot of balls, may even walk you, and i find myself getting better at the game, i'm even hitting doubles and tripples now on hall of fame. Beat SF 6-0

Y'all kids are lucky to have multiple Griffey cards available. Back in my day I had to play video baseball games on my Atari 2600. There were only a few two fielders and they couldn't even throw the ball to record outs and our hitters were just some stick figures who were incapable of hitting fly balls. Hell we were so poor, back in the late 70's that the pitcher had to throw from second base. There was no pitchers mound.
There were no cards to collect and I don't recall Ken Griffey Jr even being famous yet.
So enjoy this game and your fancy internet and quit whining about extreme this and core that. Y'all got it easy.

Trying the comeback one now.Yeah - would have been VERY irritating to do that again. Fastballs in and sliders away.
I moved on to Mini Seasons on HOF as that seems a fast way to rack up progress. Marte 2HR on HOF seems very doable to fwiw as we had to do 3 HR on HOF with Yelich back in '20.

While I appreciate the thought. I am not doing this program.
Will I maybe try a few of the moments at some point? Yes. But I am not doing the whole program. Shoot I have not finished the majority of the regular programs so there is no way i am finishing Extreme.

It's crazy how I pitched 2 PG's on Veteran, in small ballparks, with 2 relievers each time. Now I have to. Wow.
Maybe that's the way to go, with 2 relievers. -

Think of it as XP towards the program + practice against the CPU lol. Just threw the perfect game with Matt Cain, took about 7 trys.

I looked at the Cain moment and decided these can wait for a day I have patience. Griffey was easy. Conquest seems doable since I crushed the first two with my Topps Now squad. If you play enough I believe it’s possible to complete the program without trying.

Hey those Topps Now squads are no joke! I always end up preferring them to my own squads…says a lot about my talent as a scout lol
