What do you do when you were banned in error and..
1.) The MLBTS 23 Support Team says PS banned/suspended you
2.) PS says that you were never banned/suspended, but they cannot reach out to SDS support because I am not banned and SDS is a separate entity.
3.) All escalated tickets are met by someone who says "Your ticket has been escalated to a higher level, but they are not going to fix an issue that isn't broken on the PS side"
4.) You have reached out to every mod on the board and been told to work through SDS support, who haven't responded to me in a month.
5.) Spent $2500 on the game from launch until being hit with an excessive chargeback on one "99.99 bundle transaction on my phone. A transaction that occurred minutes after I realized that the purchase was citing PS4 stubs and not PS5 stubs. I obviously do not see this message on my PS5 where I normally buy packs. I took the advice of the PS agent and was banned by MLB The Show the next day.
And lastly... if you are going to ban me in error and the problem cannot be easily fixed, at least transfer my cards over to another account so I can enjoy the game that I invested in. There has been nobody for me to provide factual evidence of what happened and if SDS will not talk to PS and PS will not talk to SDS, how does this ever get resolved.

You probably got banned for spending $2500..it’s for your own good.

This happened to another player earlier in the year. There was a charge back for some type of unauthorized purchase and it was exactly the same thing. SDS stated it was PS that had banned them and PS stated it was SDS.
I don't know how it ended or if it were ever resolved. I don't have any words of wisdom to help but if it were me, I would search high & low for a phone number for SDS to speak with an actual person. Other than that, I don't have much advice.
SDS needs to get better with addressing grievances instead of whatever their current system is as it obviously takes far too long to reach a resolution for players.
BTW, pay no attention to those talking smack about spending money. It's your $ and you can do what you like with it. Never understood why others care what others spend. If their were no people spending $, all players would be forced to spend $.
Hope you get it worked out.

That one still has me baffled. Unless you have MLB The Show multiple accounts that you use on different consoles then there is no such thing as PS4 Stubs vs PS5 Stubs since Diamond Dynasty is tied to your account and not your console.
That said there is little doubt that SDS Support is slow to respond in most cases. As someone who used to work in IT support I can easily imagine just how overwhelmed they are with tickets. There seems to be a definite disconnect between Sony and SDS also.
But even if they did get back to you they would not move your cards over to a new account. That would defeat the purpose of the ban. At that point it would probably be easier to just unban you.
I hope you get it resolved.

He stated the purchase was made through his phone so I'm guessing, it was via the companion app. You are able to switch between 23', 22', 21' versions via the app so he may have inadvertently switched to the 22' version by mistake when he made the purchase which would have given him 150k on his 22' version instead of 23'
That's the only way I could see it happening.

I believe I did via logging into theshownation site on my phone. From there you can click in a link that brings up a drop down menu that has a selection for 'stubs'. On that page it defaulted to the PS4 tab, but there is a PS5 tab right next to it. I didn't catch that because it makes no sense for it to be there if PS4 and PS5 stubs are the same as some gave said. When I purchased the bundle it said something like "Redeem PS4 stubs". I never did and called PS right away for support. They offered the refund and I got banned by SDS. I am so disappointed.

You can’t fix that via chargeback. It’s a terrible way to handle it. Most businesses will ban you if you do that.

Yes and PS has a site where you enter your information and it will email you if banned. I did that twice and I got no email. I have spoken to 7 agents and 2 managers at PS and they said that I was never suspended or banned by PS. They keep saying work through MLB The ashow support, but outside of their initial response a few days after they banned me to say that I am banned because PS banned me, there has been no update.

PS recommended the chargeback to resolve the issue since their refund policy is that a claim must be submitted within 14 days of purchasing the item and the item cannot be redeemed. I am banned in what seems to be a very odd loophole.

The irony of this is that the people who are suffering are the people SDS actually wants. OP dropped $2500 on this game. Meanwhile I just flip Maysn Winn for a 100 stub profit a billion times and I have any card I want. I am only limited in skills in game.
-
@SevisonJN_PSN curious to see if you got this rectified.
