If you want a decent amount of packs you should try the new Righty righty mini seasons. I pulled two choice diamond duos packs and took Castellanos twice because he wworth the most. He’s cracked btw.
I’m enjoying the new MS. I had early Diamond duo choice pack luck, got Bryce, Yordan and a few others. So I can’t complain. But I think I’m the king of gold now.
My luck is up and down lately. Packs are usually pretty bad in general but it’s still exciting seeing the diamonds whenever they do show up.
-
The new mini seasons is so much fun, 10 games in Donaldson (bringer of rain) has 7 hime runs for me lol. Plus the 4 diamonds that go with the program are great for stubs.

I've been thinking of adding him, this might be a good way to get him, thanks
He’s really good. I hit a home run 507 feet at Coors with him.
I hit a 515 foot shot with the new Will Smith.

And then the extreme program on Friday
With SDS completely watering down the difficulty level on showdowns, I anticipate this to be the easiest extreme program that they've released.
Even then, there's going to be multiple complaint threads on it being too difficult.
I hope I'm wrong.
No your not wrong, it will probably consist of lots of moments (people will complain), possibly a conquest map that must be played on All Star or above (not that hard to do honestly) same for showdown, and maybe a few huge time consuming XP missions with players.
I don't think it will be anything like the year were we had to beat all 30 teams on all star and then the extreme team on hall of fame and there was another game on hall of fame for Babe Ruth.
But....that wasn't extreme. You're confused. You are thinking of the "Old Timers Program" in MLB 20.
Extreme will be a showdown for one card, moments for a second card, and conquest for a third (if it follows previous years formula).
Interesting that you got two upvotes for completely false information. Welcome to the internet in 2023 lol

Last year’s program was a reward path, unlike what you laid out which was the historical norm

Yep, your point? Previous year (s) refers to plural, not a singular example. I do hope it's more reward path based, I feel like that allowed everyone to eventually complete it, even if it took much longer for some.

Fixed it. Now my point should he clear. SDS has shown they want everything obtainable to everyone to keep the casual complainers happy, so most likely same as last year where you can achieve without really achieving.

Casual complainers? Maybe, working moms/dads with kids who have limited time to play the game?
Not everyone is a 17 year old HS kid on summer break, or a college kid living at home until August.
I'm fortunate to have a lot of time to play, but the majority of the player base is not. I'm perfectly fine with them making the grind more accessible to the majority of the people who purchase and support this game.
I forgot how toxic this forum is lol. I'll be back in a month to remind myself.

Lol, I’m old, man. But it’s supposed to be very difficult tasks and if I can beat them, I deserve the reward. If I can’t, then I don’t. Some people are participation trophy mindset, others are not. Each their own. ( I am all for making them sellable though as that rewards those who can achieve the challenge and those who can’t are able to buy)

Your absolutely right, my bad. Ruth was the old timers program. Haha guess i'm not the only one not paying attention. Good catch though

For all the try hards that want a challenge try accomplishing something great in real life. This is a video game and I feel most of the player base treats it as a release from our daily grind. I do it to chill out not to push my limits. I do that in the gym and at work day in day out.

That’s a pretty ignorant statement to say people who want a challenge in a game don’t try to achieve anything in real life.
If your mindset is what you state, you should be perfectly fine not playing Extreme ( making your statement all the more confusing)

It’s called extreme. Every game should be on legend in conquest and showdown…
Should, it won't be
Agree, why I used the word “should”… SDS has made it very clear they do not want to upset the casual gamers with how they have eliminated all HOF events ( and the once a year legend ), as well as last years watering down of Extreme program.
Was there an Extreme last year?

My guess is it will be all 28 diamond duo packs, A All Star choice pack, a Home Run Derby Choice pack, and a guaranteed rare round Home Run/All Star Choice pack that will be non sellable. Plus a handful of regular packs and few ballin is a habit packs sprinkled in.
The clue does say 30+ packs are guarded by the shark.
