MLB The Show 24 ?

What are chances of the show 24 being on next gen consoles only next year ?
I think it’s time to move on. Last gen consoles are holding up for the next gen consoles to get a better game overall. It’s not hard to get a PS5 anymore for the heck of it the other day I went onto PlayStation store and you can check out easily.
My opinion I don’t see it happening until maybe the show 26 I want to say.

They release 3 past gen after next gen is launched, been doing it since 07, is the current game the 3rd since the PS5/New Xbox launch?

There are 39 million PS5 and 21 million XBox X/S and 125 million Switch customers to sell games and/or stubs to so no reason to keep selling to the previous generation now that you can freely walk into a store and pick up a current generation console.

Switch is far from current generation; if they keep supporting it, then the game won't progress on PS5 and X/S.

Then unfortunately we and XBox are f’d if you believe quality is tied to PS4 and XBox One because MLB is forcing them to make the game for Nintendo. I wasn’t referring to picking a Switch up in the store by the way. They never had a problem stocking those.

I know, I was responding to the first part. Switch is basically PS 3.5, so unless (unlikely) they stop supporting it, or until the Switch successor comes out, we are, as you said, f'd.

They don’t have a choice. MLB forced them to make the game for the company. I don’t believe Nintendo has a successor on the horizon.
