I just got the second to last reward on the Future Stars Program which I had my heart set on the Elly card because stupid me thought that the 9 players it shows when you preview the reward but I guess they are split into one of two possible packs? Had to settle on Baty and he’s been great for the Mets (Go Mets!) but man I already had me some REAL delusions of grandeur with what I hoped to accomplish with the Elly card in the lineup.

Now that I’m miffed I gotta ask - why do I keep ending up either one or 2 points shy on these programs? That’s at least 3 now that I’ve got to either win at the showdown or get another 2500 points before I can complete. Makes me hotter’n a blistered weenie in a wool sock

I get base round and 1 point short. I play the showdown. I refuse to get hotter'n a blistered weenie. It's already hotter than a blistered weenie here in Texas

Well you’ve already got me in a better mood, my friend. I guess it’s off to the showdown for me. Compared to the Texas heat, I’m cool as a cucumber up here!

I bet you are. Give me a cabin in the Smokies and I'd be happier than a pig in manure.

I just thought of something…I used the last name of one of the greatest ball players of all time when I made the title - none other than Michael Jack Schmidt. Yes, I’ll admit his celebratory jaunt after crushing number 500 wasn’t his best moment, but a legend all the same. However, what if, in an alternate universe, Mike Schmidt was an inventor, and instead of Thomas Crapper inventing the flush toilet, it was Mikey? Would that mean that when you had to take a numero deuce, would you say you had to ‘take a schmidt’ ?

First, I think you need a nap. You're answering yourself.

Second, I hoped the same thing, but only because I wanted to sell Elly for 120K.

As far as the the final 3 points, I just did two vs CPU at Coors field. 1600 the first time, 1400 the second. Dominguez is fun in my lineup.
