The same joke and, still, no one is laughing

Just played the new 2nd Inning Showdown. The same randomized/scripted gameplay. Guess I really shouldn't expected anything else but there was a patch.
The "don't give up a run challenge"..just the same 'ol no matter where you pitch it the AI will string together enough to get that run. With a gold pitcher they singled-singled-sacrifice-fly. The sacrifice fly was on a sinker low and outside that, physics dictate, should have been a grounder.
But, then, we get the exact opposite affect later in the 1st elimination game. Score 4 before 7 outs against Berdosian. As usual, you get the first 3 runs fairly easily. I'm taking no chances with guys on 3rd base because ALWAYS-ALWAYS in that mode fly balls are shallow and you will be thrown out tagging up by the weakest armed OF in the game (it's a constant). Anyway, I'm down to 3 outs with 1 run to go guy on 1st. Bogaerts pops one up on a good-pop-up (what the hell is a good pop-up) to the catcher.
Boggs coming up with 2 outs left. Seen this script many times. I knew the double play would happen. Did every conceivable thing to stop it, but no..Boggs grounds into a double-play...game over. This grounder was on a fast-ball up that physics dictate would have been a fly ball, unlike the "actual" ground-ball pitch that produced a fly-out in the first game I lost.
I don't know about you, but I just get this grin on my face when I smell the BS. It's like, here we go again. Might as well lay the controller down and let the AI just play it out for me.
I am the stupidest most gullible dummy in the world...and restart and go through the BS pain again.

I win 90 plus percent of my showdowns. Dont be bad. Pretty easy.

Started again, this time I'm using a LH gold pitcher against the AI all RH lineup. First 2 outs with his batter just flailing like it was on "rookie". 3rd guy I walk..pretty speculative, but I'll buy it. The next batter...joke animation and probably should be fixed in the next patch a couple days from now.
The guy jumps all over an outside slider. AI audio says "he hit that one deep". The animation then shows the ball trajectory near the wall and, of course, the location it might end up coming off the wall. I've seen this exact animation enough to know I can back up to the wall and actually catch it..no need to play it off the wall.
Well, this is the TRUCKIN' DISASTER animation these clowns leave in games just to assure the script plays out. I jog into the area just in front of the wall. I then get propelled about 6 feet away from the wall...don't ask me where that animation came from...and, of course, the ball hits the wall..right where I was standing before the funky animation struck. Run scored.

No you don't. This has nothing to do with skill. This is AI generating animation that determines the outcome.
There ain't no secret you have to pitching or fielding that would prevent this. Don't even try..it might work for the gullible, but not for me...and most out here actually.
And, I won't get into a pizzing match with you. Just don't try to use the stupidity on people that know better. Makes you look dim.

Im sorry you are bad at the game. Showdown is easy. Be better.

No offense, bruh, but I just jumped on after not playing the piece of trash for a couple days. I just want my money back. This game is hopeless and not getting any better.
That's the message that needs to be echoed over and over. SDS get your craniums out of your posteriors and write software that, at least, resembles the real thing.
And the other message is, don't listen to anyone on this forum that insinuates this game is about skill. It's not. Anyone that says that nonsense is either a fan-boy or trolling.

Ok, you’ve told me what you want. And I’ll tell you what I want. I want you to quit crying. I play the game and I do just fine. You are a crybaby.
You are hopeless and not getting any better. The message that needs to be echoed is that losers such as yourself need to try something different if what you perceive to be the correct way to play is not working. If this game were as broken as you (or any other crybaby) say it is, then it wouldn’t have as large a player base.
You suck. Stop sucking. That’ll vastly improve your enjoyment of the game. Outside of that, you’re playing a game that you claim to hate, so the joke is on you. Rather, the joke is you.

As a player who hits a perfect/perfect flyball homer on every single pitch, this game is EZ for me. And if it's anything less than that for you, well I'm sorry but you're just the worst player in the history of mankind. please get good, the game is flawless and every single mistake is your fault.
That'll be 100 stubs please.

I somewhat struggled through my first 10 outs against feller in the final boss showdown and still beat it first try, my success rate in showdowns is like 98% right now

Ill play you for 500 dollars and give you a 2 run lead. Maybe after I win by 5 runs youll think differently about skill. Its not like the same 5 players are top of the leaderboards year in and year out. Oh wait they are. This game actually has a skill gap. Thats why there is so much crying.

The single most important thing that will improve anyone’s enjoyment of the game is to not let results determine whether it’s fun or not and to treat each at bat as a learning opportunity.

We're talking about a randomized animation-generated game...not a simulation where there is enough consistency that you can truly adapt to a reproducible experience.
There are some that try to compare The Show challenges to Boss battles in other games. Like comparing apples to oranges. In the typical Shooter-genre Boss-battle game the "Boss" behaves the same way..always...you have to adapt. By recreating the experience, paying attention, you learn the method to beat the "Boss".
In The Show, the experience is so varied and completely random you can't adapt. You just ride it out, keep playing through the anger, disbelief, and disappointment of a game that coulda been, and hope the randomized animation finally turns up a win.

I have a hell of a time with showdown, perfect perfect outs are the death of me
