Pitched balls that touch the strike zone are not counted as strikes in all game types. This is beyond frustrating. Do the devs not watch professional games? I mostly play RTTS but also play other modes occasionally. I play as a 2 way player so this affects both pitching and hitting for me. I am tired of getting pinged for “Swung at a ball” because I swing at pitches on the edge of the zone. Sometimes the ball icon is almost half inside the visible zone area. It is extremely rare that these are accurately called as strikes. In 2023 this shouldn’t that hard to fix. I created a support ticket about this issue but was advised to bring it up in the forums so I am. I have seen at least 2 other posts here from 2020 about this issue in sub forums for specific game modes but this problem exists across all modes. This needs to be addressed.

It's like a dev heard the saying that 50/50 calls on the black could go either way and took it literally the zone is brutal this year

Can we at least agree that calls on the edges need to be called for strikes just a bit more frequently

How about more evenly as well? I have lost track of the number of times I have a pitch where 3/4 of the ball is in the zone, while not just my online opponent, but especially the AI in conquest can nip the tiniest part of the zone with the ball (like 1 pixel of the ball) and it is called for a strike. Especially for strike 3.

Makes it very hard for me, as a weak hitter to improve if I have a strike zone that shifts non stop.

I think the biggest problem is the advent of technology. With the series x and ps5, pitch recognition is even easier. So couple better plate discipline with tightened strike zone you get much tougher time getting people out
