What’s your limit?

No limit…If I get up & my opponent quits I get the win. If I’m losing then I’m racking up innings for the program…RS truly is win/win now.
I want to play this guy!!!

For me, it’s all about enjoying myself. If I have to face Bob Gibson or Dustin May, I know I’m not gonna enjoy it so I just quit. I’ll usually play vs anyone else no matter what the deficit is.

If I give up a HR on a pitch that is perfect on the meter, I will quit. I don't care and never will about the explanation about how irl pitchers aren't perfect. Why not have a user input only mode to test that theory?

My limit is right before my opponents fly ball clears the fence.

Meter is probably the easiest method of pitching. It is possible to go a whole game with "perfect" metered throws. So if your opponent guesses pitch and location and times it up perfectly he should ground out to short because you perfect on meter. Makes sense.

What if they are early and off the ball with the pci? I mainly am referring to 19 and Mondesi who hit whatever perfect metered pitch leading off for homers and I swore back then that I will dashboard first at bat HR's forevermore.

Mature approach. I think all dashboarders should be reported for connection issues. Let the stats count and then quit.

If you get up by 9 on me, you better make it 10 or we are going 9 innings, lol. It's my duty to the other players that are over 60, that are terrible but love the game, to save them the heartbreak. Just like telemarketers. The longer you can keep them tied up, the less damage they can do!

True. I wish the wins would count towards the progress, tho.

I want to keep the game within 5 runs. I’m going to start quitting if my opponent gets up more than 5 after the first inning.
i was down 6-0 in the first inning in RS awhile back - of course i was livid and wanted to quit but i didn't - i wound up tying the game in the bottom of the 9th to 8-8 and lost in the 12 or 13th inning - that was one of the best games ive played online in years and i wasn't even mad that i lost at that point

I quit as soon as I am winning so I can talk smack.
You don't need to be winning to talk smack. Its just your nature. Desert living has burnt the cranium.

I’m not a quitter so I have no limit
