A fix that worked for me was inviting via playstation’s quick menu. I’m on ps5 and if you go to game base on PS menu then click on the friend you want to join, you can click the little square with a controller logo in the middle and it allows you to invite to co-op in that menu.
Absolutely the only fix. Restoring licenses worked once but this way is the best way by far.

Unfortunately that won't work to invite friends on other consoles though

How the frig can these morons put out an update that locks us out of DD coop and not even address the issue????

Mine came back for a little while yesterday with everyone showing as "Offline". Was able to play a couple of matches with friends yesterday. Today they are gone again.

Same here (ps5).
Thursday before update, buddy and I grinding and POOF. Gone.
How about some stubs or cards for the broken update.

Playing a friend in an online exhibition is not working, friends list is not showing up so therefore cannot invite friend to a 1v1 exhibition match. Please fix!

Any word on this issue yet? I mean it’s been 5 days and neither Sony nor MLB The show has even acknowledged it. Just wondering when I can play w friends again

How do you take the customers money and not address issues that you caused, it’s not fair to people who pay for the game just to play with their friends online, I spent money on card packs and on PlayStation premium just to play online vs my friends and you completely stole that whole experience from me, how do you plan to fix this because this has been over a week and still not even a statement of acknowledgment from any parties/companies is beyond unprofessional

My friends and I bought this game on Friday. It's been broken since. If they don't fix this soon, we will be using the refund option through the PS store because this is game breaking functionality. I know this doesn't help most, but just remember you have 14 days to get a refund after purchase and get your money back.

I've managed to get my friends list to show using a couple methods. Everyone shows as offline, but it shows up and I can send/receive invites.
1 - Restore Licenses in PS5 settings
2 - Disconnecting/Reconnecting from the Internet in the PS5 settings while in gameThey don't always work on first try, but after trying them both (mostly number 2) repeatedly the friends list shows up.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been trying to play with friends for the last week on PS4 and my friends won’t show up no matter what method I use. Come on San DiEAgo Studios. This is completely ridiculous. At least address the issue and attempt to fix it!

Crazy this still isn't fixed.. Disconnecting and connecting to the internet worked for me once, but has not again. Reclaiming the license has never worked.. No update or comments about it from SDS as well. Pretty sad that this is an issue for a crossplay game.

it's beyond ridiculous how they say nothing and if you actually email support they will respond that it's probably a problem with your internet provider.

Support got back to me saying they will be investigating. That was a week ago though.

Will be investigating is very vague lol.. It's been the reason why they can't even have their tournaments..

Lol did this ever get fixed? Probably not, they do not care at all about co op and go into hiding when people ask questions about it.
