Last night at like 2AM I was grinding events games to get to 800 1st inning stars. I took the lead on this guy in the top of the 4th, and in the bottom of the inning with 2 outs and 2 strikes he paused and sat there for 3 1/2 minutes until there was 5 seconds left and then quit.
I messaged him saying wtf you're just wasting your own time too and he said he was sitting there watching Tik Toks and that he thought it was funny.

Honestly, if a guy says he watching Tik Toks then you're dealing with one of two options:

he's a stupid high school kid, in which case you just shake your head and move on.

He's a grown man who watches Tik Toks, in which case you just shake your head and move on

I wouldn’t be that mad, still a faster win than playing 5 more innings and I can save my bullpen/starters energy

It happens but usually for me they send a friendly quit that i deny then they pause the game and run it down to 1-5 seconds left then CONTINUE TO PLAY until either i hit another home run and quit or if im unlucky and cant score again they play out the entire game. Whats worse is those 1 to 5 or so seconds left goes up to over 1 minute after like 2 more innings so they have more ammo to repeat the process.
