Can we please tone down the RNG or whatever it is that keep low skill players competing? Even tho I went 4-7 on perfects I can’t help but feel annoyed because I feel like I should have gotten rewarded more, btw I won the game via walkoff…
According to the game stats I went 10-35 on balls put in play with good contact in the last 40 pitches, my opponent was 2-2 (he also struck out 16 times)… he bunted with Cano to squeeze a run in (please make bunting attribute matter).
I’m sorry but I should not be sweating against players like this, I’m done playing ranked for the night.

its part of the game lol. It goes both ways though I notice the RNG is terrible if you have a lead and will ease up on those 70-80 mph up the middle smolpp hits for the losing player.

Imagine… I never said I do not like the game and don’t have fun playing it, just because one game out of 40 gets me tilted doesn’t mean I do not enjoy it. Trust me, I’d quit if I didn’t like it, just like I did last year.

I felt like SDS held that player’s hand all the way to the 10th inning and even then my first two at bats of thst inning were perfect outs… the player only threw fastballs up in the zone with Nolan Ryan/Gagne and cutters low and away with Lee Smith. Still I was hitting rockets to the defense.

I don’t think I have been hypocritical at all. He says the game isn’t fun to him.

You have to remind yourself it's all about the process....JK, online can be infuriating. What I hate more than being punished for being patient and making good contact is losing when an opponent swings at everything and wins with a scientifically and physically impossible hit homerun but SDS has made it clear that garbage won't change soon.

I concur. And I’m an average player but it’s very clear when the RNG is taking control. Feels like it happens too when one team’s lineup is materially better than the others but reality is there is clearly some behind the scenes code to try and “even things out” enough to keep both teams playing. It’s annoying but don’t think it’s going anywhere so I’ll just take those Ls and Ws when they happen for or against me.

I was annoyed because of how well I played and how predictable he pitched. I knew where to put my pci every single time, he never changed his sequence and it worked out for him until the 10th.
In the 5th two of my pitches telerported to the middle of the zone and credit to him because he hit them both out.

happens to me every few games. dude hits weak grounderes and texas leaguers for hits and i line out constantly
