is still the best baseball video game ever. I enjoy using 99s all year (I enjoyed not using them too). I love the first base fielding/throwing meter interaction and emphasis on the reaction attribute. Negro league storylines are amazing. Quirks being added to legends is a long overdue change. Sets are fine, don’t want to see the same cards used all year. I’m still having a blast with Ranked. It’s the same game that I’ve always loved.
My only complaints are minor. No filter for mini seasons. Free cards not being as good as diamond duos. Co-op generally needs improvements. Ranked program and team affinity are too grindy. Too many players have outlier. And I could do without the incognito names replacing real names and monsters, but none of these issues prevent me from thoroughly enjoying the game.

Yup that mini seasons filter thing is my biggest issue. I just finished my second TA 2 season and i was gonna use the cards i just unlocked on my team to start the season so i went to view/edit roster and noticed it was my main default roster. I backed out to roster management and set my team...and when i went back to mini seasons, it was reset to the default lineup. Not a huge issue....just an annoyance really.

It truly is! That’s why I hop on and play almost every day. The programs are a grind, but the reward is taking those cards, especially the collection rewards, into ranked or events, or Co-op, and having some great H2H games.

I love the grind and collecting cards. Using Big Papi at either first base or perhaps DH. I love when I match up online against players using Switch who are using live series cards and knowing that he/she isn't going to be able to handle the heat of Randy or Ryan. I love when my parents leave their credit cards lying around so I can upgrade my outfield.

How long have all yall been working at SDS?

I love reading the rage posts of my opponents when they pour their snowflake tears on the forum for all to see. It's when they show their vocabulary is as limited as their understanding of the strikezone.

I question your reading comprehension if you think this is a rage post.

And if you played during the 989 days, then you've actually working for them since 1997

Bases Loaded was such a quantum leap from NES bball

We used to play 5 man tournaments on NES baseball…took all day considering you moved all 9 players simultaneously when on defense…and we LOVED it

This game is far better though I’ll give it that

It’s a good game! I love all the improvements. I find my games are more enjoyable when I use cards I enjoy using regardless of the rating. I can’t do the grind for set 2. Just can’t do it. I burned out on set 1. Don’t even care what the collection rewards are. Doesn’t mean I’ll quit playing, but that grind is ultra brutal.
