TA Grind - A Tad bit too long IMO
-
I trend to disagree of TA is a once a season release then it should be a time sink and take a good amount of time to complete
-
For me as long as they are obtainable all year long the length is fine with me.... only issue is maybe take out some of the silly 1000-2000 coin rewards and some of the unlockables
-
TA2 = 90 Set 2 cards (95% to Goose which is 5 cards away and about 1/3 for completion of whole Set 2 collection rewards), 5.5K stubs, 20K XP toward Season 2 XP rewards path, 13x other packs, other rewards, and all the other XP, PXP, and stubs earned from game play while finishing the program (which is a lot!).
I will have it done probably by Wednesday and there are plenty of people who already have it done in less than a week.
I don't see it getting any easier or less of a "time sink".
You have to prioritize what modes you want to play and which rewards you want and how you will get those rewards. SDS is not just give these rewards away for a very little effort. You have to adjust your game play priorities to match your game play desires and the reward paths.

Just need some more options like they added throughout like previous years.
-
I dont think its too long...i just think peoples attention span is too short. Everything needs too be done and done now apparently.
-
It’s been out one week and I will have the program done tomorrow…And I’ve seen others done a couple days ago…It is definitely not too bad of a grind.
-
I don’t think there’s anything that needs to be changed. It’s not supposed to be done in even 3-4 weeks let alone 1-2. With the XP missions, mini seasons and conquests it’s not hard to at least get a few players from each division fairly quick.

This whole game is a grind.
I’ve refused to grind this year. The only thing I’m doing is the weeklies moments and I’m only playing ranked to see how I go.
I’ve literally only got about 10-15% of TA1 done 0-5% of TA2.
I now feel pressured as my team is still set 1 heavy
It ain’t for the casual unfortunately.

I've also sort of given up on TA this year.
I only have been doing the special programs like Kaiju, Mexico series, WBC type . Those are fun because it's a more manageable grind for me.

Kinda in the same boat, I grinded TA1 and only got about 40% of it complete. I didn’t have the time/motive to do it all knowing by the time I get the card I want I’ll only be able to use them a couple of weeks before I replace them.
And also now my team is set 1 heave as well with not a lot of stubs.

Sorry but the TA grind is too much. Takes most people way too much time if you are trying to get everything done. Sure, if all you do is TA then its fine, but who wants to do that? I sure don't. Too many other fun things to do. I am shooting for 50% of TA each set, and if I don't even make it that far then fine. In fact, this whole season seems more of a chore than fun at times.

Just play the TA2 mini seasons. Every time you get 5 wins its 1 TA2 voucher for 4k XP, so if you get 25 wins in a seasons thats 20XP without even playing the playoffs. Not to mention if you load up on future stars and Incognito players it goes even faster
-
I personally love playing with all the cards and building theme teams

Personally, I think loading from one team and play vs CPU would be quicker. A pitcher with about 18x Ks and the offense putting up 30 or so runs will easily meet that 2000PXP mission. That would be an 8.5 inning game worth 5K program points.

I don't mind it. It's slow but I do it without effort.just playing online and getting team xp

I did do the showdowns.and.conquests.but I don't worry about the.player specific stuff

Yea. The grind is huge. I just do enough to get the cards I want really. I usually do all 3 showdowns first, then all 3 conquest with set 1/set 2 players. 139 on set 1 and like 50 on set 2 so far. TA cards aren’t good enough to make the 1st team, so I’m not super pressed about them.
-
The only thing I agree with on this post is to put captains sooner. Having to get 10 hits with 92 overalls is a chore. I do like being able to bring them to events with you, lets you kill 2 birds with one stone.
-
I wish they would take a page out of the Show 21 book in regard to TA and conquest. The rewards and grind were fantastic 2 years ago. Perfectly balanced. The rewards are just sad in comparison and the grind is too long.

I finished TA2 after 8 days…It’s not too long, You just have to work smart.
