Market question

Let's say I have a card I don't care about but a friend wants it. If we are both online and I list it for a exact amount and he enters that same amount will he get it? Even if it's under market value?
Also if it is possible is it against SDS market rules? I don't want the SEC after me or get a ban

Theoretically it is possible if there were no buy orders in on it, but you can't list a card for sell at a lower price than the highest buy order.
-
Yes, I believe it is technically against the rules.
There is also no easy way to do it because your friend can't choose which sell order he accepts. You just always buy the lowest priced card on the market. You could try it by making you card the lowest price but there would always be a chance someone else swooped in and purchased it before your friend.
Personally, I would not risk it.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could trade cards like we used to do as children with the physical cards. I think that would be pretty cool.

Would create a black market. People would trade cards and send money on venmo. Kills the market and sds pocketbook.

I’m sure SDS could come up with some way to implement this and still hang on to their bottom dollar. I could probably devise a way that makes everyone happy. It was just a thought however.

Doesn't likely, somewhere under the covers, SDS (some employee they've assigned) initially set all market prices?

Your conspiracy theories are getting stranger and stranger.

It'd be great but I'd also take advantage with a farm account to complete collections. There's really no advantage (that I can think of) to a FA in the current format.
