I’m going to work as hard as I can to develop a great Kaiju style monster video game. Grow it for years along with a monster gamer fan base. Once I’ve built it into a legit franchise and have all the monster gamers eating out of the palm of my hand, I’m gonna launch a game update and make all the monsters start playing baseball. Balance in the universe will be restored.

That stuff is pretty cool, and there is a place for it.

However, online RS games should not have hovering alien ships and dinosaurs.
In addition, my opponent's custom sound effects should not be playing through my home stadium's speakers!

Nah man, expand the story - they came for baseball, during the world series they saw the other sports(pick one, unless your ambitious and will do all 3) and found that they like them too.

Not sure why there is so much animosity toward this games inclusion of the Kaiju storyline. I think it’s imaginative and takes some of the staleness away from the DD grind. The storylines are hilarious. The game is still the same. It’s not like the monsters are playing the game. I know it’s a bit childish but baseball is a child’s game and adults still watch it wishing we could still be playing. If you don’t like it just ignore the scenery and skip the storyline.
