Best ways to complete Conquest maps

Not sure if there is a “hack” to completing the conquests faster. I just feel like they’re so time consuming, like [censored] these maps big!
I learned from @TEXAS10PT_PSN a great way to complete the maps. Take all of the strongholds first. Then sim the rest of the spaces. Only play games for the strongholds. To have enough fans to take the strongholds, either reinforce or steal fans, depending on the size of the map.

Yep this is the way. I always go straight to the closest stronghold asap and take it then start walling everyone else in. Fill in the open spaces and then take a turn or two to amass troops then steamroll stronghold after stronghold. You can just sim all the battles after that, easy as pie!

At first, I was new to the strategy. Had never played this type of game before and was too stubborn to try and learn.
But when I realized that I wanted some of the cards from the big Conquest map in Season 1…I decided to finally take an hour or two and figure it out.
I had a feel for it, but needed to figure out the flow of the turns and how to best get thru it without wasting too much time.
The big maps are still here pretty time consuming .
I try to grab as much open territory as possible early. And I load up my reinforcements on the edges to slowly attack and gain more.
The CPU will always keep numbers in their strongholds…I don’t. I load up and wait until I have a solid numbers advantage and I simulate all of those.
I don’t bother with the Steal Fans phase at all.
I just Reinforce and slowly try to strangle out the CPU with the numbers advantages I have from not keeping reinforcements in my Stranglehold.
The more territory I gather, the more reinforcements I get every turn…so eventually my numbers advantage just becomes too much to overcome. Then I just load up and attack, attack, attack.
However, if I feel like I’m getting overextended, I will sit back and let the CPU fight each other while I gradually increase my numbers advantage even more.
I move thru the map like this and then do the Strongholds at the end.
By then my reinforcements every turn are enormous compared to the CPU …so I load up whatever I have directly next to strongholds so I have enough to play the 3 inning game on Rookie.
Some of the bigger maps, like the Nation of baseball one, I played a few on Veteran.
At that point I’m just using reinforcements and the Move phase to load up next to Strongholds and play games on Rookie.
Boring and tedious at times, but I will use some cards to complete programs…and while some people say to NEVER play these games on Rookie or Veteran because it will mess with your timing online on All Star…I’ve found that they help me…as long as really focus on moving my PCI to the ball and seeing the ball.
Pitch speeds are going to be slower…but when I struggle to hit it’s more about slamming PCI or dropping it. So when I play these games my focus is smooth, fluid PCI movement and tracking the baseball to the bat.
I will also work on little things like aiming my PCI purposely to different parts of the bat so I get reps on hitting the ball opposite field or trying to hit singles with Contact hitters where I’m not just trying to hit everything “square” every single time.
Sorta disappointed there aren’t many Conquest rewards yet in Season 2.
I liked some of those cards from the Nation of Baseball map. And a few of them helped me load up a lineup using the Harper “All Star” captain boost.

I’d rather watch paint dry than to play conquest…that’s just my opinion.
Watching paint dry can be entertaining…….If you’re a snail!!!!

3 inning games is too time consuming? I dont know which is worse....your post or the guy complaining about showdowns taking too long. What do you guys want? Free 99s just for logging in daily or is that too difficult?
We’re well over 2,000 hexagons at this point. Will hit 20,000 again. It’s the most irrelevant part of this game that seemingly 14 people pretend to enjoy. I can assure you I’ve never failed to CONQUER a conquest map, because it is the most brainless, time wasting mechanism I’ve ever seen in any game. Omg a 45v3 simulation how thrilling, everybody hold on to your lazy boys this is gunna get wild. Oh I won, alright let’s run it back 43v2 let’s see if we can conquer another territory!!!
When I play weekend league I don’t have to complete a game of monopoly for the rewards. When I play 2K I don’t 1v1 a computer in scrabble to rank up Myplayer. Yet here we are absolutely dominating and undefeated against the CPU in WAR for the 145th time. Nothing hard about it, mainly because the word your looking for would be “difficult” but apart from the obvious language barrier it’s just lame, corny, and has literally nothing to do with baseball or MLB. I mean, can we play Yahtzee or Snakes and Ladders for a bit? Let’s switch between different fisher price games every season.

My strategy for conquest is to check for any turn based mission or stealing fans missions before starting
If there aren’t any of those, I literally just simulate and take over every non-stronghold on the map. Its time consuming but I like to finish a conquest map by just playing the stronghold games to finish things off

How long does a MTO run take? I have never made it longer than a game or two.

Never played MTO, I’ve never heard it being viable in terms of an efficient way to grind programs
But some people may enjoy MTO over mini seasons for example

I haven't done it in awhile, but I want to say 6-8 hours overall.

MTO is good to do during double XP. You get 55,000 TA points by flying through it on rookie and putting up monster offensive numbers and at the same time, you make a ton of XP path progress.

Nice! Never considered it before or heard of this strategy, appreciate it

If you don’t have anything to contribute to the post other than YOUR complaining, just keep it pushing big dog.
