I dont mind the pxp missions. What I do mind is all the time I have to invest to finish these programs. I have no time to parallel players on my "God squad". All it feels like I'm doing is using my grind team

Bingo. I literally never get to use my main team. And guess what, they’ll all be gone in two months and we’ll never get to use them. We’ll be stuck in this perpetual grind for the entire life cycle of the game. That, or we’ll use our teams and never be able to finish any of the collections without spending major dough

This has been my complaint all along about PXP missions. For those of us who don't play this game only and mainly focuses on offline content when it comes out it is hard to find time to just play with your desired players.
Wednesday - Weekly Wonders - Earn PXP
Friday - Tops Now - Earn PXP
Mexico City - Earn PXP
Charisma - Earn PXP
Team Affinity - Earn PXPMaybe none of them are overly difficult on their own. Charisma is a pain because they slowly spoon feed you the cards so you can't fill your lineup and just earn it all in a few games. That is the way POTM was last year and how I assume it will be this year (Earn PXP with this card and then we will give you the next one. repeat)
I'm not as dedicated as others though. I play a lot of other games so I don't have nearly the number of hours invested. When the sum total of time I spend trying to earn PXP exceeds the time I spend playing with my preferred players then I feel the balance is off.

ya i get it. ive been playing DD since 17 and maybe its one of those things where i need to take a year off.
i love the improved gameplay and the content, but i dont get any excitement to play much. sometimes it's more of a chore.
I did really enjoy the WBC program and maybe the Mexico program will give me similar excitement. -
PXP missions ruined the game for me last year. POTM was just bonkers. This year is starting to look even worse. I am going to have to give up the “collecting mindset and just play whatever I want and not care if I complete programs. I spend the entire week jumping through PXP hoops and never get to use the guys I want and like others said, those guys are only here for a limited time.

Just do the Padres innings for that one, use the Hoffman card and take out the saves at the same time, the rest will get done by itself. I skipped the hits with Giants

Too much? 1,000 PXP for TN players can be done in one or two 9 inning Play vs CPU games.
The Mexico series players are 200/600 which can be particularly completed by doing the Conquest and then finishing off the hitter in some Events games.
Could probably have both programs completed before Sunday.
You're not even close to finishing the pxp in the Conquest. Most of the cards are relief pitchers so even if you start them, you're only getting 100-150 per game and you're only using 2 per game.
I just started a classic mini season after i unlocked Martinez and im still not done with the rest.

I did Gallegos(sp) in 3 Conquest games. Granted I pitched him all 3 inns per game and didn't throw out any baserunners on ground balls to make sure he got 7-9 Ks a game.
But it was a grind.
