They could make the charisma 5k pxp repeatable
5k PXP is worth 4 points.
Showdown is worth 30 points.
That 5k PXP mission took me 6 conquest games, roughly 15 minutes a game, let’s say an hour and a half.
The showdown took about an hour.You would need to repeat the PXP mission 7.5 times, or, roughly 11.5 hours of gameplay to equal the program points from completing one showdown.
I’m doing the showdown.
I do showdown too, but I’m offering it as an alternative, so if you don’t want to do showdown it takes longer. They did this with the extreme program last year, so it would make sense to do this with any program to have a PXP mission that’s repeatable, but if you do the showdown it’s quicker.
I just want to have the ability to get the players without doing Showdown as u said... if its take me longer so be it but I cannot get past 54 points in the Charisma program without Showdown to me thats a load of BS

This was my trick the last two years. unfortunately it doesn’t work nearly as well this year. Awesome that you knocked it out so quick. But some of us it will take hours, thousands of stubs and still, one bad round and start over.

Just failed my 1st attempt at Chafin, second to last boss. Winning run on 2nd, 2 outs to go. 90+ speed Biggio on 2nd. Pinch hit DJ Lemahieu for O'Neil Cruz with 1 out to go. Grounder to 3rd. FAIL

This was my trick the last two years. unfortunately it doesn’t work nearly as well this year. Awesome that you knocked it out so quick. But some of us it will take hours, thousands of stubs and still, one bad round and start over.
You make your stubs back if you beat the first four scenarios.
I am not sure if I am better than I think or others are not as good as they think, or maybe it is because I only play offline and am more accustomed to the CPU pitchers, but so far I have completed every showdown on my first attempt. That includes the Starter, WBC, NL Central Affinity and as of 10 minutes ago the Charisma one. Maybe I have just been lucky.
I am a zone hitter who almost never plays above Veteran and who also almost never moves his pci and simply tries to wait for mistake pitches.
I was concerned about the two 6 out stages against Kelly and Chafin (especially against Chafin with a very lefty heavy lineup) but managed to sneak past them. I am also sure that at some point this year that I will fail miserably at a few.
Also of note is that I got nothing out of the three Duo packs that I earned by getting up to 60 points in the program. I think I managed 1 gold in the three packs I earned.

Definitely appreciate these tips. I think many of us get in our heads. I’ll try some of these approaches.

My issue was the one with Nenn. States you start out with a runner on first. Now when you stated with a runner on first or third in the TA Showdowns it was always your 7th or 8th batter.
So what I did was put my two fastest players Charisma Henderson and Tatis on those spots and put Charisma Griffey in the leadoff spot.
But when it loaded they had my 5th spot Charisma Devers in on first. Then I proceeded to hit pop ups until Devers came t bat and since he was at bat they substituted a Common player with 5 speed on at first.
Ending up failing it.

Legit despise showdown, even more so when it’s mandatory.
If I have to do extra exchanges or play more hours to do repeatable PXP missions so be it, but no more showdown!

Showdowns just seem to be something that SDS refuses to let go of. Some people like it (or at least put up with it), but a LOT of people despise the ####ing things. Its been three years, evolve it based on feedback or let the mode go.

I've failed Charisma twice now, but a great tip early on, before you get players for succeeding is: When you are forced to have an all Common bench, sub in the fastest speed guys! One of them got a cluuuutch hit for me at one point. The one where your 8th batter starts on 1st is one to put a fast runner, as someone mentioned
My bad placement issues have been my downfall so far. I missed so many cookies, that I flung my milk away
