The Hanging Slider

Is anyone else terrified to throw a slider with the majority of pitchers?

I am.

I'm not talking about one in the dirt or 3ft off the plate.
I mean in the strike zone. Daniel Bard is a prime example. That lollipop just drops in and yells, "pummel me!"

I know, I know. Don't throw sliders.
But they don't seem to have sharp break this year.

Anyone agree?

I’m more worried about a hanging curveball. A common power hitters eyes even light up when that pitch is thrown

Well,if you eliminate the pitch it's just makes it easier on the hitter,cause he eventually will figure out you re not gonna throw it,
