Don't know if its just me, but since the update hitting has been impossible. And im not talking about pinpoint or pitching getting a bit easier (considering the fact pitches will still hit the outside of the par 5 straight pitches in a row). But balls completely squared up and timed perfectly finding a glove on the defense without fail.
Feels likes hitting, for me, got a silent nerf unless u get a perfect perfect (yet i still consistently hit perfect perfect lineouts).
Was hitting perfectly fine before the update but now ill go 4-21 on good contact and timings in game while every person i play is hitting 11-20 on good contact and timings.
Im a WS player and its fustrating not being able to be competitive because the game hasn't rewarded me for jack for the past week.

I have definitely noticed more diving plays since the update which absolutely nobody asked for. Less batted balls finding the gaps is not good for hit variety and it does kinda feel like it’s slowly transitioning to more home run or bust.

I think it was nerfed a little. I average about 10 hits a game in Online Rated and and I’ve noticed more so now perfect perfects are barely getting to the warning track lol it’s a small sample size but seems to me it was nerfed some.

Not sure if hitting was nerded as much as pitchers can now place the balls better. Also balls that were called balls earlier on are now strikes so you have to swing at pitches you can’t really hit. Which isn’t bad it’s like baseball is.

This is the result of people complaint that pitching is to hard. It happens to with every sports game, a game comes out plays fine but different then last year.

But rather then learn something new people complain, “it’s to hard” the developer gives in and then as a result something else changes.

More then likely they changed something to make the pitching more forgiving and it had an unforeseen effect on hitting timing screwing it up making it unpredictable.

Thus there are swing and missus on balls down in he middle timed good.

They can try to change it his but it will just screw something else up.

Developers need to just stop tinkering with new games when people start complaining week 1 that it’s to hard rather then putting the work in to learn the new game. But that is not the American way anymore
