BR Reward (Griffey)

I hate that they have put a wall up for casual / non BR players who LOVE playing with Jr cards and while the 89 M's one is fine for a start they need to have a 95/97 version in S2 or I will be ticked off even more then I am atm. We all know they did this to get more stubs sales btw -- FACT and if fanboys want to trash me for this comment all i can say is --- JUST BRING IT !!!

It’s all relative. Some could say they hate playing events, moments, conquest or RS. All modes have cards attainable through them. Can’t cater to everyone. You want Griffey? Grind BR or skip him

I let my emotion take over cause I love playing with Jr cards in this game and there is some merit to the comments I have seen but i still believe putting one if not the most beloved legend in the game in BR is not cool. I still believe this is a move to get players like myself to entice us to give in and maybe buy some stubs to be able to buy it.
I still hate SDS for this move and we shall agree to disagree on this one, --

They literally removed this wall. This would have been 400,000 stubs a couple years ago and the certainly did put really popular cards there. However they invented a BR program so you can earn homie without going 12-0 and in fact don’t even need to win a game. You honestly don’t even need to play it you just need to wait a week or two and he will be fairly reasonably priced.

You start back at zero when a new season of BR begins. The only thing that stays is your win streak. So someone 11-0 could get one win to get the flawless pack, but the point system restarts.
Exactly. This is why ppl stopped at 11-0. Bc Griffey was available 5 minutes after release for 500k, lol. It's much better than wasting a 12-0 on a 70k card.

And so what if it was a move to entice stub buyers? They've thrown high OVR cards at people so far this season simply for playing the game.
I'm actually just happy to see a usable Griffey in the game before September.

Not a pay wall at all. I'm not that great online and I made it to 100 pts last program (ended at 114) and I think it cost me a total of about 20K in entry fees.
Completing the player missions nets you 42pts. In the time it takes you to finish those you are about half way to the 15K in PXP that gets you 15 pts.
Then if you string together the 30Ks (5pts) and 50 TBs (15pts) that puts you at 87pts.
Even if you can't get 4000pxp per run and whatever the other one, per run is, that give you 15pts each; all you need is about 15 wins and you made it to 100pts.
I spent 20K in entry fees, after just buying the mission cards earlier when they were close to QS, and got Vaughn, in about 8 days, which I sold for 65K. Plus I still have the Missing player packs that I can sell.
So it's worth playing as long as you can string a few wins per run and work on the player missions.

There is no wall at all. Getting 99 Griffey at all is April is a breath of fresh air. You can suck at this game and earn him with the program points in no time. A couple years ago he was the final big collection reward in November if anything that was a wall designed to keep the casuals out; not having him as a BR reward in April where everyone will have him by the end of the month

Just do the BR program people! It's not very hard and BR is actually pretty fun!

My Captain Griffey is a 96 OVR with the Captain Boost activated and also being Parallel 5. Yours can be, too… for free.
This one looks like the early Griffey with the different stance, which I don’t want. Will be saving my stubs!
